<b>Job Description</b>Overview<p>We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer to lead and manage all site supervision activities for a prestigious large-scale development program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Resident Engineer will serve as the Consultant’s senior on-site representative, responsible for ensuring that construction works are executed in accordance with approved designs, contract requirements, quality standards, project schedules, and health, safety, and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary supervision teams, manage contractor performance, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide leadership throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover phases.</p><br>Your role<ul><li>Act as the Consultant's primary site representative and lead all project site supervision activities.</li><li>Manage and supervise multidisciplinary engineering and inspection teams covering civil, structural, architectural, MEP, infrastructure, and specialist systems.</li><li>Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards.</li><li>Monitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, and compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>Review and recommend approval of contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, construction programs, and technical proposals.</li><li>Monitor project schedules and ensure achievement of key project milestones and deliverables.</li><li>Lead regular progress meetings, technical coordination meetings, and stakeholder workshops.</li><li>Provide guidance and resolution for site-related technical challenges, design issues, and construction constraints.</li><li>Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and field modifications.</li><li>Ensure implementation of approved Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures across all project activities.</li><li>Monitor compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements and promote a strong safety culture.</li><li>Coordinate with local authorities, utility providers, operators, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.</li><li>Review and certify contractor progress reports, payment applications, and completed works.</li><li>Support commercial and contracts teams in evaluating variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests.</li><li>Monitor risk management activities and ensure timely mitigation of project risks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, authority approvals, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Oversee testing, commissioning, integrated system testing, and operational readiness activities.</li><li>Manage snagging, de-snagging, and handover processes to ensure successful project completion.</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly project reports highlighting progress, quality, safety, commercial matters, and key project risks.</li><li>Mentor and develop supervision staff while maintaining high standards of professional performance and technical excellence.</li></ul>About you<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.</li><li>Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management is preferred.</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, PMP, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.</li><li>Minimum 20+ years of overall professional experience in construction and engineering projects.</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on major building developments.</li><li>Proven experience on large-scale buildings, convention centers, hospitality developments, luxury hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, and commercial complexes.</li><li>Extensive experience within Site Supervision Consultancy, PMC, or Engineering Consultancy environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of international building codes, construction standards, and engineering best practices.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in FIDIC contract administration and construction management.</li><li>Proven track record managing multidisciplinary project teams and complex stakeholder environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of quality management systems, construction methodologies, testing, commissioning, and project handover requirements.</li><li>Experience reviewing contractor claims, variations, schedule recovery plans, and commercial matters.</li><li>Thorough understanding of project controls, construction sequencing, and risk management processes.</li><li>Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly preferred.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively manage multiple contractors and interfaces on complex construction projects.</li><li>Proficiency in project management and reporting software applications.</li><li>Fluency in English is required; Job Title Position Title: MEP Project/Site Engineer Location: Dubai<br>Role Overview The MEP Project/Site Engineer is responsible for the on-site management, coordination, and delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installation works in Riyadh-based projects. The role ensures that MEP systems are executed in compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Civil Defense requirements, approved designs, safety standards, and project schedules, while maintaining high quality and cost control.<br>Key Responsibilities1. MEP Site Management & Coordination Lead and manage all on-site MEP installation activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems. Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure smooth interfaces and sequencing. Ensure site activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project programs.
