A Master's degree is an advantage.• Minimum 10 years of progressive Engineering experience, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.• Proven leadership experience managing Engineering, Maintenance, PMO and Capital Projects within a large multi-site organization.• Strong background in the QSR, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing sectors.• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale expansion programs and time-critical construction projects.• Strong financial acumen with experience managing CAPEX, OPEX and engineering investment decisions.• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.• Professional certifications such as PMP, CMRP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent are preferred.• Fluent in English. IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Contract: 7-Month Fixed-Term Contract Duration: 15 August 2026 – 28 February 2027Work Location: Primarily stadium-based<br>About the Role We are hiring an experienced IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist to provide technical support across stadiums and tournament-related venues in Jeddah. This is a 7-month contract role supporting venue preparation, technology testing, rehearsals and live football tournament operations. The successful candidate will combine IT help desk support, venue technology coordination, troubleshooting and IT asset management. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and extended hours during matchdays and other critical operational periods.<br>Key Responsibilities Provide first- and second-line IT support to venue teams, employees, contractors and operational stakeholders. Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and other IT equipment. Resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, email, user-access, network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues. Log, prioritise and track incidents through the designated IT help desk or ticketing system. Set up and test IT equipment across stadium offices, accreditation areas, workforce centres, meeting rooms, control rooms and other operational spaces. Conduct venue technology checks before rehearsals, matchdays and live tournament activities. Operate from the venue IT help desk or technology operations centre during live events. Respond immediately to matchday incidents and prioritise issues according to their operational impact. Coordinate with network, telecommunications, audiovisual, access-control and specialist technology teams when required. Maintain live incident logs and provide regular updates until critical issues are resolved. Arrange temporary workarounds, backup equipment and escalation support to minimise operational disruption. Prepare, issue, track and recover IT equipment allocated to venue teams. Maintain accurate IT asset registers, equipment handover records and inventory reports. Ensure spare laptops, chargers, cables, adapters and other essential equipment are available at the venue. Support venue decommissioning and final equipment reconciliation at the end of the project. Follow all IT security, cybersecurity, access-control and data-protection requirements. Prepare daily reports covering incidents, outstanding issues, equipment status and operational risks. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, IT help desk or venue technology. Previous experience supporting stadiums, football tournaments, sporting events or major live events is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and standard IT equipment. Experience troubleshooting wired networks, Wi-Fi, VPN and general connectivity issues. Familiarity with Active Directory, user-access administration and IT ticketing systems. Experience managing IT assets and equipment inventory. Ability to remain calm and resolve technical issues quickly during live operations. Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder-coordination skills. Good command of English; Arabic would be an advantage. ITIL, Comp TIA or Microsoft certifications would be advantageous. Important Requirements Must be available for the full contract from 15 August 2026 to 28 February 2027. Must be comfortable working primarily from stadiums and tournament venues in Jeddah. Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and extended hours during live tournament periods.
