Overview<br><br>An Estimator is responsible for preparing pre-contract cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, and tender documentation for large-scale infrastructure projects. They support procurement strategies, conduct market analysis, and manage risk and value assessments to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with project objectives.<br><br>Your role<br><br>Lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects. Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and other industry standards. Support the development of procurement strategies, including packaging, tendering, and contract formation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives. Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract conditions. Conduct market analysis and engage with supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning. Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions. Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks. Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.<br><br>About You<br><br>8 Years relevant experience. Estimator shall have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Middle East. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Measurement and valuation of contractors work for payments and account purposes. Providing detailed Bill of Quantities for tendering and construction administration. Provide price comparison between different sources to have a competitive pricing. Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts. Sourcing and/or obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors for the preparation of cost estimation. Preparation of Interim and Final development appraisals and budgets. Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts. Ensure that payments to contractors are made on time and in accordance with the contract agreement. Verifying claims and payments throughout the contract constructions phase. Attending monthly Development Team meetings & Groundworker meetings on site. Attend design meetings and provide advice on costs and construction solutions to clients Contract administration. Resolve contractual and commercial issues that may arise.<br>Qualifications:<br>Bachelor's degree in civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or a related field.5 years minimum experience. Experience in dealing with consultants/contractors/subcontractor. Professional Auto CAD and Revit user.
