Unleash your talent and redefine what s possible.</p><p>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our Logistics team!</p><p>What You'll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Lead the planning and initial site set-up and production of the HSSE plans, integrated with the wider engineering and logistics plans to give a city-wide approach.</li><li>Develops standard operating procedures for HSSE of the program and ensure that QIP follow them so there is operational consistency across the program.</li><li>Coordinate with other delivery partners (Jacobs and Mace), as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.</li><li>Plan and implement HSSE strategies and approaches in accordance with the completed and approved HSSE plan.</li><li>Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.</li><li>Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas, leading in the fields of HSSE.</li><li>Leads on unusually complex HSSE problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with site and engineering leads.</li><li>Facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program.</li><li>Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.</li><li>Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.</li><li>Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.</li><li>Prepare the needed reports.</li><li>Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p><b>What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 15 years experience in construction projects, specifically health, safety, security and environment.</li><li>Advantageous to have experience in Saudi Arabia.</li><li>OSHA Certified is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.</li><li>Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.</li><li>Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.</li><li>Ability to follow through clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.</li><li>Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting).</li><li>Ability to interact with senior-level management.</li><li>Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.</li><li>Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.</li><li>Strong Contractor Management skills.</li></ul><p>Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information. <p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. Complete cashier and closing reports. Supply guests with directions and property information. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all accounting procedures. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.</p>
<p>Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.</p>
<p>Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Enter and locate information using computers/POS systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.</p>

<li>Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.</li>
