You will be a Prototyping Engagement Manager in the AWS PACE (Prototyping and Customer Engineering) team, based in Riyadh. You are the face of PACE for customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — helping enterprises turn their most ambitious ideas into working technology proofpoints on AWS.
You work at the intersection of business strategy and emerging technology. You identify the opportunities where generative AI, agentic systems, and cloud-native architectures can create the most value for a customer — then you shape, qualify, and drive those engagements from first conversation to working prototype and beyond.
You pilot a pipeline of high-value innovation opportunities, you earn the trust of C-suite and technical leaders alike, and you create the conditions for brilliant engineers to do their best work. You pair with hands-on Prototyping Architects to deliver multi-week hands-on engagements that de-risk transformation, prove out new workloads, and accelerate customers' paths to production.
You thrive in ambiguity. Your customers are navigating generational technology shifts — foundation models, autonomous agents, intelligent automation — and you help them cut through the noise, make crisp decisions, and move fast. You work backwards from customer outcomes, you insist on the highest standards in scoping and delivery, and you invent on behalf of customers who don't yet know what's possible.
This role is based in Riyadh and supports customers across KSA and the wider GCC, working alongside account teams, specialist organisations, and partners to drive workload adoption at the frontier of what AWS can do.
Key job responsibilities
You build and pilot a pipeline of innovation opportunities across KSA and the GCC — working with account teams, specialists, and partners to proactively identify where generative AI and cloud-native architecture can unlock the most value.
You qualify with rigour. You ask the hard questions early — is there a real business outcome, a committed customer, a path to production? You invest resources where they matter and disqualify where they don't.
You scope engagements that set teams up for success — working backwards from customer outcomes to define crisp, time-boxed prototypes with clear success criteria.
You drive engagements from kickoff to close — coordinating customer developers, AWS architects, and partners, mitigating risk, and ensuring every engagement closes with demonstrated value and a concrete next step.
You are a trusted advisor to senior leaders — helping executives navigate generational technology shifts and make confident investment decisions.
You scale what works — packaging repeatable motions and sharing them across the PACE community worldwide.
You represent the customer internally — feeding engagement insights back into AWS service teams and product roadmaps.
A day in the life
You start with a standup — a customer's engineering team is two weeks into a generative AI prototype and needs your help unblocking a decision. Mid-morning, you're scoping a new engagement with a Saudi enterprise exploring agentic AI. After lunch you review your pipeline, update qualifications, and plan resourcing with your Prototyping Architect. Later, you're with a customer's CTO — they've seen prototype results and want to talk path to production. You finish the day writing up a repeatable pattern you spotted, something the wider PACE team could use.
About the team
PACE (Prototyping AI and Customer Engineering) is AWS's hands-on customer innovation team. We work directly with enterprise customers to turn their boldest ideas into working technology — building prototypes that de-risk transformation and accelerate adoption.
Our model pairs Engagement Managers with Prototyping Architects: you shape the opportunity, they shape the technology, and together you deliver something real. This role sits within EMEA PACE, supporting customers across KSA and the wider GCC, backed by a worldwide community that shares patterns, tools, and lessons learned.
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Advisory Board Member — Healthcare (Equity Role) One seat. The person who brings American agentic AI to Gulf healthcare. MK Labs (a spin-off of Augier.ai) · US applied-AI company Location: Remote · Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or wider GCC) Type: Part-time · Advisory (a few hours per month) Compensation: Success participation + advisory equity + first-look investment rights The moment The Gulf is making the largest AI bet on earth — and healthcare is where that bet gets personal for every leader in the region. The question is no longer whether agentic AI transforms healthcare operations here. It's who is standing at the door when it arrives — and who is remembered for opening it. About MK Labs MK Labs is a US applied-AI company, a spin-off of Augier.ai, focused on logistics and healthcare. The agentic AI that American enterprises are racing to deploy — autonomous agents making real operational decisions — we already run in production: not demos, not pilots, but systems working daily inside a global operation spanning 20+ countries, with a committed anchor customer and revenue from day one. Now we're bringing that capability to the Gulf — self-hosted, so the data never leaves the country. American AI, sovereign control. That combination is why the region's most ambitious organizations will move first. The Role One seat. Not a panel, not a committee — one advisor who becomes the person that connected Gulf healthcare to production-grade American agentic AI before anyone else did. This is a strategic, relationship-driven seat — not an operational role. The right person doesn't just advise a company; they put their name on a market's turning point. You will:Open doors: introduce us to decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise healthcare organizations exploring AI adoption Shape our healthcare go-to-market: help us understand where agentic AI lands first — claims, compliance, documentation, supply chain — and what buyers actually need Advise the founder directly: a few hours per month of calls, reviews, and introductions Lend credibility: be publicly associated with our healthcare expansion as we build visibility Who we're looking for10+ years in the healthcare industry — operations, technology, consulting, or commercial leadership An extensive, active network across mid-tier and enterprise healthcare businesses — and a track record of connecting people Familiarity with how healthcare organizations evaluate and buy technology (regulatory and compliance awareness a strong plus) Genuine interest in applied AI — you don't need to be technical, but you need to be curious Based in the Gulf, or deeply networked across Middle East healthcare — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the wider GCCWhat we offer This seat is structured the way Gulf business actually works — you're rewarded for what you originate, not for holding a title:Success participation: a success-based commercial arrangement on opportunities you originate — when a door you open becomes a closed deal, you share in it. Terms structured directly with the founder Advisory equity grant with delivery-based vesting (scope discussed directly with the founder) First-look investment right: if our healthcare expansion becomes a regional entity or a funded round, you invest early on insider terms Title and association: Advisory Board Member of a US applied-AI company with production systems and revenue — named in our materials, at our side at the region's key industry events Direct partnership with the founder — your input shapes real decisions, fast; no committees How to apply We keep this simple, and we take track records seriously. Email muntaz@augierai.com with:Your Linked In profile and a short note on your healthcare background Two or three examples of doors you've opened for a company — the organizations involved and what came of it (a meeting, a pilot, a partnership). Confidentiality is respected; titles and organization types are fine where names can't be shared Two references — people who know your work as an advisor or connector and would be glad to take our call From there: a direct conversation with the founder, and reference conversations for the final candidate. We structure every advisory relationship around contribution, with terms discussed openly and directly — advisors who open real doors do very well with us. We're appointing one advisor and will move quickly with the right person. MK Labs is an equal opportunity organization.
