The Planning Engineer’s role is to function and deliver within the business and high performing programme / project team environments, using project control techniques to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects, while minimising claims and disputes between project stakeholders.<br>The Planning Engineer will develop working project programmes and monitor these within the performance and management framework established for the development. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ol><li><p>Operate the VNA forklift safely and efficiently within the warehouse.</p></li><li><p>Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections and complete the machine checklist before and after each shift.</p></li><li><p>Load, unload, move, store, and retrieve pallets from designated storage locations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all received items are in good condition and report any damaged goods immediately.</p></li><li><p>Verify that all items are stored in the correct warehouse locations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all pallets and products are properly labeled before storage.</p></li><li><p>Double-check pallet information and documentation before issuing or moving stock.</p></li><li><p>Perform physical inventory counts and assist with stock audits as required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the safety and security of all pallets in storage locations.</p></li><li><p>Minimize product and equipment damage through proper handling practices.</p></li><li><p>Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the VNA machine is placed on charge at the end of each shift.</p></li><li><p>Report any equipment faults, safety hazards, or operational issues to the supervisor.</p></li></ol></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ol><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Valid VNA/Forklift Operator License or Certification.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 2 years of experience operating a VNA forklift.</p></li><li><p>Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and inventory control.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in shifts when required.</p></li><li><p>Basic computer and scanner/WMS knowledge is an advantage.</p></li></ol><p></p></section>
