Knowledge and proficiency in reading and interpretation of Aircraft and component manuals and Eng Work orders (TSM, MEL, IPC, AMM, SRM, AWM.). JOB PURPOSE:To support and execute project Electrical commissioning activities assigned. To implement ACWA Power Commissioning Standards and best practices on site for Electrical systems. To ensure Electrical commissioning, testing, and handover processes are carried out thoroughly and in compliance with project requirements. To collaborate with EPC, Project Company, and NOMAC teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient commissioning, and to demonstrate full operational readiness of assigned Electrical systems in accordance with OTS.<br>Assist in reviewing EPC Contractor’s Electrical commissioning procedures and test plans. Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of Electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, cables, UPS, battery chargers, and auxiliary systems. Execute functional testing, loop checks, and troubleshooting under the guidance of the Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager. Perform inspections and pre-commissioning checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and codes. Record test results and prepare commissioning reports for acceptance. Coordinate with design, construction, I&C, mechanical, and DCS teams to resolve technical issues. Liaise with vendors and manufacturers during testing and troubleshooting. Support documentation reviews (test reports, as-built drawings, commissioning records). Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Implement safety measures during electrical energization, testing, and commissioning activities. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments. Work closely with Senior Electrical Commissioning Manager and commissioning team members. Share knowledge and collaborate with peers across commissioning disciplines. Support junior engineers and technicians in day-to-day commissioning tasks as delegated.<br>Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering or related discipline.<br>Minimum years of Experience5–7 years of experience in the Power and/or Water industry with a minimum of 5 years in Electrical commissioning roles on large projects. EPC-side commissioning or OEM testing experience is preferred. Minimum Skills Contribute to lessons learned by capturing challenges and solutions from ongoing projects. Support project teams in implementing corrective measures and enhancements in Electrical commissioning. Provide inputs to performance evaluations of EPC/vendor commissioning activities.
