We are seeking a Production Planning Officer for a leading fit-out and manufacturing company based in Riyadh, KSA. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring factory production activities across multiple manufacturing divisions, including joinery, metal works, interior fabrication, exhibitions, and activations, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, efficient resource utilization, and on-time project delivery.<br>Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and monitor detailed production schedules using Primavera P6 based on project timelines, factory workload, and manufacturing capacity. Coordinate closely with production, procurement, technical, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing activities. Monitor material availability, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production capacity to avoid delays and bottlenecks within the factory. Track daily production progress across manufacturing departments and prepare weekly and monthly production planning reports. Follow up on fabrication requirements, shop drawings, cutting lists, and production data received from technical teams. Support production recovery plans and priority scheduling when manufacturing delays occur. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), factory output, production targets, and delivery schedules through ERP and planning systems. Identify risks impacting manufacturing timelines and recommend corrective actions. Participate in factory and production coordination meetings to ensure alignment between departments. Maintain accurate planning records, forecasting data, and manufacturing performance reports.<br>Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production planning within manufacturing environments only. Mandatory experience in factory-based manufacturing operations such as joinery, metal fabrication, fit-out manufacturing, exhibitions production, or industrial fabrication. Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production sequencing, factory operations, and capacity planning. Solid working knowledge of Primavera P6 is mandatory. Experience using ERP systems and production reporting tools is highly preferred. Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
