Define and run incoming inspection and acceptance testing on each new batch, including sampling plans, test procedures, and clear pass/fail criteria.

Assess component and build quality – solder joints, connectors, enclosures, wiring harnesses, SIM and antenna integration, and general workmanship – identifying defects, substandard parts, and batch-to-batch variation.

At Searce, you get into the weeds, leading with a process-first mindset as the fellow engineers evlo (solve differently)intelligent outcomes; while you remain 100% accountable for the technical datasolutions proposed, their quality, and the real outcomes realized in production.
You aren't just overseeing pipelines; you are architecting scalable data products thatturn chaotic data into high-velocity business intelligence. You thrive on data quality andare obsessed with the potential of modern cloud platforms to revolutionize howbusinesses operate.
You're not just building pipelines. You're engineering transformation.
Your Responsibilitieswhat you will wake up to solve.
Your mission is to partner with visionary clients, leverage our ‘solver DNA’ to disrupttraditional data silos, and genuinely futurify clients' business operations by creating‘real value’ through cutting-edge data engineering and scalable architecture.
Here’s how you’ll make your mark:
Drive Technical Impact & Growth
● Own the technical data solution delivery that directly fuels client revenue and success. Forecast, architect, and execute data strategies with precision.● Architect and deliver compelling data products that build deep client trust and accelerate the adoption of data-driven decision-making.● Leverage and deepen technical alliances with hyperscalers (GCP/AWS/Azure), modern data stack ISVs, and AI platforms to unlock cutting-edge pipeline and storage capabilities.● Consult & Solve as the lead technical voice in strategic client conversations, translating ambiguous business problems into elegant, high-velocity data engineering solutions.
Architect & Build Intelligent Outcomes
● Lead engaging discovery workshops using first-principles thinking to uncover core client problems amenable to AI-powered data architectures.● Apply our proprietary evlos methodology—iterate fast and fearlessly in the design and development of innovative, automated data ecosystems.● Serve as the chief technical translator between a client's biggest business challenges and our most intelligent, cloud-native data platforms.● Design AI-native, cloud-forward data solutions grounded in process intelligence, ensuring every byte of data fuels better outcomes.● Replace “nice slides” with “production-grade automation” —delivering pleasant surprises for clients via working, real-world data flows.
Functional Skills
➔ Consultative Data Architectural Solutioning : Drives deep modern data architectural solutioning and consultative guidance, directly enabling client wins and contributing to significant, revenue-generating engagements (e.g., projects valued at $X Mn+). You move beyond simple pipelines to design the AI-native data foundations that fuel enterprise-wide transformation.➔ Incisive Discovery & Pipeline Opportunity Identification : An exceptional listener who asks truly incisive questions to uncover core business challenges, discern underlying data and system opportunities, and deconstruct ambiguous goals into scalable, elegant data blueprints. You clarify the technical requirements for robust data services, identifying critical bottlenecks in latency, idempotency, and throughput.➔ Architectural Storytelling & Data Clarity : Possesses articulate and persuasive communication skills, able to distill complex modern data architectures—from Lakehouse and Data Mesh to RAG-based AI infrastructure—into compelling CXO/CTO-level storytelling. You provide absolute technical accuracy and clarity, demonstrating how engineering decisions (like partitioning strategies or schema designs) align with strategic business outcomes.➔ Technical Negotiation : Skillfully guides client and internal "Solver Squads" towards optimal, mutually beneficial data architectural decisions. You balance innovation (Generative AI, Real-time Streaming) with pragmatism (scalability, cost-performance, and zero-downtime execution), acting as a key facilitator for high-impact technical consensus.➔ Cross-Functional Engineering & Data Ops Catalyst : Thrives in highly collaborative environments across product, engineering, data science, and delivery. Eagerly shares deep technical knowledge in Data Ops, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated quality frameworks. You inspire others to achieve common, technically sound goals, ensuring that high-quality, maintainable code is the baseline for all intelligent outcomes.
Tech Superpowers
➔ AI-Driven Data Architecture : Architects robust ecosystems bridging structured data with Unstructured/Vector stores to power RAG and Gen AI workflows. You build data foundations specifically for AI, distinguishing high-velocity integration from superficial data movement.➔ Core Modern Data Engineering Mastery : Translates deep technical insights—from distributed compute to schema evolution—into resilient architectures that survive petabyte-scale volume and data skew to create measurable business value.➔ Cloud-Native & MDS Capability : Proven impact implementing high-performance platforms on Snowflake, Databricks, or Hyperscalers. You masterfully select the simplest, most reliable tools (SQL, Python, Spark, dbt) to ensure cost-effective, production-grade delivery.➔ Business-Driven "Data Product" Architecture : Acts as a Product-Minded Strategist, linking architectural decisions directly to client outcomes. You translate complex requirements into elegant architectures that treat every dataset as a measurable "Data Product" with clear ROI.➔ End-to-End Ecosystem & Governance Integrity : Designs modular, reusable data products across ingestion, transformation, and consumption. As the Integrity Guardian, you embed data quality, lineage, and privacy-by-design (GDPR/PII) into every pipeline.
Experience & Relevance
➔ Architectural Pedigree: 8+ years of progressive experience driving AI-driven, cloud-native data transformations with a process-first mindset and a portfolio of high-velocity data products.➔ Technical Growth Leadership: Proven track record of architecting complex platforms—Lakehouses, Real-time Streaming, and Platform Migrations—that directly fuel client revenue and expand strategic engagements.➔ Client-Facing Technical Authority: Direct experience as a lead builder and consultative architect; you act as the DRI and trusted authority, translating a CEO’s vision into an engineer’s technical blueprint.➔ Cloud & AI-Native Fluency: Expert-level mastery of major cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and the modern data stack. You build with AI (Git Hub Copilot) and for AI (RAG pipelines, Vector DBs).➔ Domain Expertise: Strong background in Enterprise Data Platforms, Applied AI/ML, Generative AI integration, or large-scale Cloud Data Migration.➔ Transformation Portfolio: Evidence of leading large-scale, end-to-end transformations, proving architectures with cost-performance benchmarks rather than theoretical models.
Bonus Points (you will thrive if you have)
➔ Brings CTO Energy: Brings a potent mix of technical vision, high ownership, relentless execution, and a clear bias for driving real-world impact through engineering solutions.➔ Impactful Contributor to Transformation at Scale: Played a pivotal role in driving large-scale technical transformations for significant enterprises (e.g., within major business units of $1Bn+ organizations), delivering tangible engineering outcomes beyond mere slideware.➔ Production-Ready Automation Engineering: Has engineered and delivered production-grade software solutions for horizontal automation across functions across diverse domains like telecom, fintech, healthcare, or retail, moving beyond theoretical concepts to real-world, operational systems.➔ Scaling Expertise (0→1, 1→10): You understand what it takes to build and grow software solutions, products, or engineering initiatives with speed and intent, from inception to significant scale.
