Job Summary:The HSE Engineer supports the Company HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the HSE management system. Planning Engineer / Planning Consultant – Major Hospitality Development, Qatar<br>Location: Doha, Qatar (Site-based) Experience: 8–10 years Contract Duration: 6 months and extendable Visa Status: Qatar NOC / Transferable Visa preferred Availability: Immediate joiners preferred Certification: PMP preferred<br>We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer / Planning Consultant for a major mixed use development project in Qatar, working as part of the main contractor's project team.<br>Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and periodically update the project programme (baseline, current, and look-ahead schedules) using Primavera P6 and MS Project Monitor and report progress, including preparation of progress reports, S-curves, and productivity tracking Conduct critical path and resource analysis, and identify programme risks and constraints Prepare short-term (2–4 week) look-ahead programmes and coordinate with site execution teams Develop and maintain dashboards and MIS reports (Excel-based and Power BI/Primavera dashboards) for management-level progress visibility Prepare periodic planning and progress reports for submission to project management and relevant stakeholders Coordinate with Contractor's other team such as Commercial, QA/QC, HSE, Billing and site teams to ensure programme alignment with execution.<br>Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline8–10 years of experience in planning/scheduling roles on large-scale construction projects (hospitality, high-rise, or infrastructure preferred) Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel (advanced - pivot tables, dashboards, macros an advantage), and MS Office. Stop unsafe work practices to protect personnel, property, and the environment.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar QHSE role, preferably in the HVAC industry. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety protocols. Proficiency in using HSE management software and data analysis tools. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
