Leadership & Workforce Management Direct, mentor, and build a high-performing operations team, including Terminal Managers, Dispatchers, Planners, and Support Staff. Partner with Driver Recruitment and Retention teams to maintain full driver capacity, lower turnover rates, and sustain high morale across a large driver pool. Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish clear KPIs for team members, and drive operational accountability. Financial Control & Strategy Manage the transportation department budget, controlling costs related to fuel, driver compensation, equipment leasing, accessorial, and insurance claims.
