The primary objective is to ensure the operational integrity and safety of the refinery through diligent maintenance and repair work.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul > <li >Adhere to plant safety standards, identify potential hazards, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) procedures.</li> <li >Maintain clean work areas and ensure proper care of workshop tools.</li> <li >Diagnose and repair issues related to pneumatic and electronic instruments.</li> <li >Overhaul control valves, controllers, Rosemount smart transmitters, boilers, and furnaces.</li> <li >Calibrate plant equipment in accordance with ISO standards.</li> <li >Tune field controllers and PID settings.</li> <li >Service analytical instruments, including O2, CO, CO2, pH, and conductivity meters.</li> <li >Test safety-critical devices, Emergency Shutdown (ESD) interlocks, turbine/compressor instrumentation, Bently Nevada monitoring systems, and fire/flame detection systems.</li> <li >Read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;IDs) and instrument loop drawings.</li> </ul> <h3 >Qualifications and Requirements</h3> <ul > <li ><strong >Education:</strong> A 2-year Technical Diploma or an Industrial Trade Training Certificate from a recognized institution is required.</li> <li ><strong >Experience:</strong> 6 to 8 years of hands-on work experience as an Instrument Technician in a refinery or petrochemical plant.
