Policies, Processes & Procedures Responsible for monitoring the implemented food safety and quality program, based on company, customer, legal, and regulatory requirements. Monitor the implemented quality assurance policies and procedures for inspecting and controlling raw or packing materials, in-process and finished product to ensure that all products generated conform to predetermined standards and specifications.<br>Day- to- Day Operations Monitors facilities and manufacturing operations machinery and sites for conformance with established procedures and requirements including but not limited to the following:Ensuring effective calibration of all instruments and devices in use for the production process and testing devices (Example: thermometer, scale, metal detector). Ensuring manufacturing area and production lines hygiene through effective pre-operational checks including but not limited to swab test, physical checks, and employees GMP checks. Ensuring the integrity of raw materials, in-process and finished products storage and storage location through a frequent verification of the established standard. Ensuring that all CP’s including products packaging and labeling and CCP’s are tested according to the settled frequency mentioned in the HACCP plans for the products. Pest control policies are maintained and verified in the settled frequency. Ensures maintenance of required records and documents, including formula test results, inspections, samples and raw materials quality performance. Collaborates with other functions to understand and troubleshoot product complaints and improve customer service/product performance. Coordinates and aids in operational problem evaluation and problem-solving. Perform other related duties as required.<br>Job Specific Accountabilities Responsibility to ensure product technical requirements are met, and responsibility for material block and block reasons communication if not matching Sunbulah specifications. Monitoring for online product sampling for food microbiology, chemistry and organoleptic testing in the acquired sampling plans and frequencies. Responsibility to report food handler food safety training need and follow up on food handler’s food safety aspects behavior.<br>Continuous Improvement Continual improvement on the QMS & FSMS, by implementing internationally recognized food safety and quality systems which will lead to improve the available organizational functions and upgrade the organization operational and functional activities.<br>Safety, Quality & Environment Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.<br>Reporting Prepares On-line checks for raw materials quality & food safety monitoring and products manufacturing quality control using the forms assigned as per Sunbulah quality manual.<br>QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSB. Sc. in Food science/ technology/ Microbiology or related field Work experience: 2+ years in Food manufacturing quality control. Knowledge of local and international food regulations Good in English (spoken/written) Computer illiterate Excellent communication skills.
