Job Purpose:The Poultry Feed Key Account Specialist is responsible for supervising and growing poultry feed sales within an assigned area by maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensuring consistent order fulfillment, providing field-level technical and commercial support, and monitoring flock performance. The role supervises sales activities in the designated region, supports customer retention, and ensures alignment between customer needs and company operations.<br>Key Accountabilities:Area Management & Sales Execution Supervise poultry feed sales within the assigned geographic area. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for poultry feed products. Maintain regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction. Identify new business opportunities within the area and support onboarding of new customers. Monitor competitor activity (pricing, promotions, service level) and report insights to Sales Manager. Key Account Relationship Management Serve as the primary daily contact for assigned large poultry customers (broilers, layers, breeders, distributers). Maintain strong follow-up on orders, deliveries, and credit limits. Address customer concerns quickly and coordinate solutions with internal departments. Support customer retention through consistent service, communication, and problem-solving. Order Coordination & Delivery Follow-UpReceive and verify daily customer orders and coordinate with Planning and Logistics. Monitor delivery schedules, truck availability, and dispatch timing. Notify customers proactively of possible delays or adjustments. Ensure accurate documentation (DN, invoices, contracts) is shared with customers. Farm Visits & Basic Technical Support Visit farms to gather performance data (weight gain, FCR, mortality, feed intake). Report issues to the Nutrition or Technical team when specialized support is needed. Provide basic guidance on feed handling, storage, and management practices. Follow up on feed quality, moisture, and feed complaints at the farm level. Complaint Handling & Internal Coordination Register customer complaints and coordinate with Quality, Nutrition, Operations, and Sales. Support root-cause investigations and ensure timely closure. Participate in improvement actions related to service, quality, or logistics. Collections & Credit Follow-UpFollow up on outstanding payments with customers in coordination with Finance. Ensure adherence to credit limits and company payment terms. Reporting & Documentation Submit weekly visit plans and territory reports. Update CRM systems with customer interactions, issues, and activities. Track sales performance, forecast volumes, and monitor customer buying behavior.<br>Experience & Academic Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in poultry farms, feed sales, technical support, or agri-sales roles. Experience in feed mills or poultry integrators is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or related field.

Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain trust-based relationships with veterinarians, farm owners, and key decision-makers, upholding professionalism and transparency in every interaction. Conduct regular farm and clinic visits to understand customer challenges and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions. Serve as a reliable point of contact for product information, pricing, order management, delivery coordination, and after-sales service. Address complaints and service issues promptly, collaborating with Supply Chain and Technical teams to ensure complete resolution. Provide timely and actionable market feedback to management regarding customer trends, competitor activities, and product performance. Technical Product Support Provide technical guidance on vaccine and medication usage, handling, and storage. Support customers in disease prevention programs and vaccination schedules. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to veterinarians and farm managers. Act as a technical resource to customers in coordination with veterinary and technical teams. Collaborate with Technical and Marketing teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and compliant communication of product benefits and applications. Market Intelligence & Reporting Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback within the territory. Collect and report accurate sales data, forecasts, and market insights to management. Identify risks and opportunities affecting product demand and customer performance. Maintain up-to-date customer records and visit reports using approved systems. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements for veterinary products. Promote responsible use of vaccines and medications in line with animal health standards. Adhere to cold chain, storage, and product handling procedures during sales and delivery activities. Support pharmacovigilance and product quality reporting processes as required. Collaboration & Business Development Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure product availability and timely collections. Participate in marketing campaigns, field trials, and customer education programs. Support product launches and special projects as assigned by management. Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, Animal Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field would be desirable.<br>Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in animal vaccines, veterinary medicines, or animal health products. Proven experience working with animal farms, integrators, veterinarians, or distributors.
