<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Summary<p>Leads and coordinates activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty areas of the laboratory.</p><br><br>Essential Responsibilities and Duties<br><p>1. Monitors and resolves problems related to specimen procurement and activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty of the laboratory, including but not limited to Parasitology, Cytogenetics, Microscopy and Blood Transfusion Service.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>2. Receives daily schedules and assigns technical assistants to specific areas of the Hospital and clinics for specimen procurement.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>3. Assists in training new technical assistants.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>4. Oversees distribution of laboratory reports.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>5. Inventories and requisitions of blood-collecting supplies.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>6. Performs all duties of blood collecting, etc. as needed.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>7. Comply with the section policies, procedures, and protocols.
