The successful candidate will bring strong NDT and industrial inspection experience, excellent teaching and facilitation skills, and a commitment to delivering engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Training Delivery</p><ul><li>Deliver classroom-based, workshop, and practical technical training sessions.</li><li>Facilitate learning through presentations, demonstrations, case studies, simulations, and hands-on activities.</li><li>Support trainees in applying NDT methods, inspection principles, QA/QC, safety, and workplace best practices.</li><li>Monitor learner progress and provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.</li></ul><p>Curriculum Development</p><ul><li>Develop, review, and update training materials, lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and practical exercises.</li><li>Ensure training content reflects current industry standards, technologies, and best practices.</li><li>Integrate project management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies into training delivery.</li></ul><p>Assessment and Quality Assurance</p><ul><li>Conduct trainee assessments and evaluate competency against learning outcomes.</li><li>Maintain accurate training and assessment records.</li><li>Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p>Health, Safety and Compliance</p><ul><li>Promote safe working practices throughout all training activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain training facilities, equipment, and resources in a safe and effective condition.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><h2>Job requirements</h2><h3>Essential Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a directly related technical/vocational specialization from a recognized university or institution.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of appropriate commercial/industrial experience directly related to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and/or QA/QC inspection.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in post-secondary technical and vocational education and training (TVET).</li><li>Strong knowledge of NDT inspection methods, industry safety standards, QA/QC practices, and relevant technical standards.</li><li>Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, report writing, and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical competency-based training using specialist NDT equipment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS).</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Professional NDT certifications relevant to the specialist area are highly desirable.</li><li>Assessor/IQA or recognized TVET teaching/training qualification is desirable.</li><li>Previous experience teaching or training non-native English speakers is desirable.</li></ul><h3>Language Requirement</h3><ul><li>For Native English speakers (citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, or Ireland) there is no need to demonstrate English proficiency</li><li>Saudi s and Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.5 or higher.</li></ul>
