This role is ideal for someone with experience in government relations, customs clearance, logistics coordination, and administration, preferably within the heavy machinery, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or related industry.<br>Position: PR, Customs & Administration Officer Location: Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nationality: Saudi National Only<br>Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate company-related government and PR formalities. Handle Visa, Iqama, Contract, and medical procedures and documentation through platforms such as Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, GOSI, Chamber of Commerce, National Address, and other relevant government portals. Coordinate the customs clearance and import procedures for machinery, equipment, spare parts, and other shipments. Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, transporters, and government authorities. Review and verify HS Codes, customs duties, VAT, import documents, and regulatory requirements. Follow up on shipment status, customs inspections, approvals, and release procedures. Coordinate the transportation of machinery and equipment from ports or airports to warehouses, project sites, or customer locations. Support logistics planning, delivery coordination, documentation, and shipment tracking. Assist with warehouse setup, registrations, licenses, approvals, and related government documentation. Handle general office administration, document control, record maintenance, and operational coordination. Support other PR, logistics, customs, and administrative requirements as needed.<br>Key Requirements2–3 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia. Experience in PR/Government Relations, Customs Clearance, Logistics, or Administration. Background in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or related logistics operations is preferred. Good knowledge of FASAH, SABER, SASO, and ZATCA procedures. Familiarity with Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, GOSI, Chamber of Commerce, and National Address. Good understanding of import documentation, customs clearance procedures, HS Codes, duties, and VAT. Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with external authorities and service providers. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced operational environment. Arabic and English communication skills will be an advantage. Valid KSA driving License
Job Purpose<br><br>To conduct assigned flights in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Airline Operational Manual and in compliance with the respective civil aviation authority related regulations. He/she must ensure ultimate safety, security, and efficiency are achieved throughout all operated flights; supports and guides the flight/cabin crew, handle emergencies and ad-hoc scenarios effectively, and takes control over the flight to ensure successful performance and positive corporate image<br><br>Key Result Responsibilities<br><br> Flies the assigned aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with the given schedules and approved flight plans; carries his/her duties and acts as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during the assigned flights taking into account the following key factors, in order of priority:<br><br>i. Passenger comfort<br><br> Ensures that assigned flights are conducted in accordance with the detailed provisions of the Airline’s Operations Manual and regulations. At all times, implements, monitors and maintains the procedures necessary to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the aircraft undertaken. Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality of self and Flight Crew for the assigned flights. Conducts pre- flight “Briefing” to ensure members are acknowledged with flight details; continuously ensures briefing is properly done prior to each action as per the adopted procedures. Liaises with co-pilots (First Officer and Second Officer) and Dispatch Team prior to each flight ensuring flight/cabin crew members are well prepared and provided with required information, this includes aircraft technical status, route preferences, weather, fuel, weight, distribution of roles, etc. Ensures, within the safety constraints as detailed in the relevant sections of the Airline’s Operations Manual, that the aircraft is flown so as to make most efficient and effective use of fuel during the flight. Ensures the required safety, security, fuel, and transit checks are carried for each flight by the Flight/Cabin assigned crew members before, during and post each flight. Takes necessary action and directs the crew on how to react in case of safety or security irregularities; decides on escalations if needed. Cooperates with the Maintenance Engineers to confirm the aircraft technical status and ensure its suitability to fly; seeks the support of MCC and MROs to raise possible concerns and identify any defects or technical issues; implements the rectification or corrective measure immediately where applicable. Makes sure all the needed documents and technical logs are loaded with necessary accurate data as per the Airline and civil aviation authority regulations and adopted procedures. This includes the technical logbook, journey book, boarding sheets, reports, etc. Ensures that the Airline Operations Manual is distributed, accounted for, maintained, kept up to date, understood and complied with by Flight Crew. Keeps himself/herself up-to-date with the legal requirements of the different regulatory bodies such as, civil aviation authority, Airbus Company and any other relevant regulatory body relating to flights and Flight Crew. Undertakes additional, ground based tasks such as Safety Officer or Security Officer, as directed by the line manager and in accordance with the provisions of Part A of the Airline’s Operations Manual.<br><br>Key Result Responsibilities - Continued<br><br>Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)<br><br>Appropriate ATPL License is a must. He/she must pass the technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots as per the Airline and respective civil aviation authority standards. He/she must pass the Medical Fitness check-up carried for the Pilots as per the Airline and respective civil aviation authority standards. Training in safety and emergency response is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage. Basic Airport, security procedures and regulations training is an advantage. Crew Resources Management Training is considered an advantage. IATA principles & standards relating to security is an advantage. Proficient in Aircraft systems, proficient in Microsoft Office Very good in written and verbal communication skills, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc. Very good in English Language (other local languages in country of employment are an advantage) <br><br>Work Experience<br><br> He/she must have completed a minimum of 4000 hours of flying an aircraft, Airbus 320 is preferred. Experience with low-cost airline is highly desirable. Possesses acceptable industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures. He/she must possess needed knowledge and exposure to handle any other role delegated to him/her such as security or safety related roles as required by the Airline and respective civil aviation authority regulations. Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures and practices related to and affecting Flight Operations. Capable of implementing policies, procedures, and manuals as per approved standards and regulations. Capable to perform in a changing environment with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios. The HYCO Shift Supervisor will manage the day-to-day shift operations which include daily customer production meetings, insuring daily operational targets are achieved, interfacing with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the site. The HYCO Shift Supervisor will be responsible to ensure the Operations staff is properly trained to support the operations in addition to the incumbent execute daily tasks which include preparing and implementing safety work permits, LOTO, complete operations preventative maintenance activities, and assist the maintenance and engineering teams in preparing and executing corrective maintenance activities. This position is an extension of the operating team and is expected to engage in all plant operations and ensure tasks performed safely.<br><br>Safety<br><br>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:<br><br>Provide & maintain a safe work environment. Provide direction & guidance based on technical feedback from Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Engineering and Maintenance for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and test activities. Provide Operations support, guidance & lead the team during the startups, shutdowns and emergencies of the plants. Maintain accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives. Provide Operations guidance to ensure safety, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. Provide Operations input for scheduled outages to ensure contractual requirements are achieved Manage plant production efficiently based on data driven decisions to ensure safety and reliability targets are met to achieve maximum profitable. Work closely with Shift Team, Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Maintenance Team and Engineering team to ensure production targets are achieved in his shift, plant running at optimum energy efficiency and safely.<br><br>Operations<br><br>Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by utilizing the APQ Basic Safety Practice program, which includes Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space, etc. The position facilitates planning, organizing, auditing, and follow-up, to build the Air Products safety culture into the APQ. Ensure all Environmental Regulatory requirements are met. Ensure compliance to all CM, PM tasks. Support and prepare for Shutdown Planning and Turnaround Planning. Ensure Air Products and APQ standards, and global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met Meet the customer’s satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility on product supply. Build the plant technical capability through support coordination from Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Maintenance Team and Engineering team. Provide coaching and motivation to the operations team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Develop, train, and promote top performing personnel who achieve success through teams, customer and employee focused, foster open communication, performance driven, and results oriented. Establish & maintain close working relationships with engineering and maintenance personnel to continuously monitor & evaluate plant systems & equipment through a Plant Process Advisory Model. Provide operations support and participate / lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis. Identify & implement sustainable corrective action(s). Act as the Single Point of Contact when dealing with internal issues of the HYCO units, representing APQ and coordinating internal resources. Provide timely progress updates to the customer. Facilitate attainment of operations excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, cost reduction, services, continuous improvements, and meeting of budgets. Maintain a relationship with the customer’s counterparts from other Refinery Units where from APQ either receiving Feedstock, Utilities & Power or supplying Hydrogen and Steam to different Refinery Units on a regular basis through Refinery Shift Superintendent to ensure alignment of expectations for APQ and the customers current and future product demand.<br><br>Job Requirements<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations preferred. An associate technical degree (2 year certificate) will be considered based on years of experience and competence. Experience in gas, petrochemical, or related industries in operations, engineering, and/or a maintenance function. Demonstrated HYCO knowledge a plus, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with 4 + years in line supervision of process operations roles. Expectation based on level of experience for the operations team to achieve a ‘Level 1 / Board Level’ status within 2 – 4 years. Operators will be evaluated during the training period and placed at the level of competence accordingly. All the operations team are considered field and board operators when Level 1 is achieved. Leadership positions are expected to follow the progression process. The HYCO Operations Supervisor is an extension of the operating team and is expected to engage in plant operations when required. Proven coordination experience in a multi team environment which includes operations, engineering, and maintenance. Good leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively throughout all levels within the organization and externally. Promotes a ‘one team’ environment. Ability to communicate and manage customer interactions on a daily basis. Wide technical knowledge in operations, engineering, and maintenance activities. Proficiency in English speaking and writing. HYCO DCS Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient and stable operation of the entire Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit from a centralized control room using DCS. This includes monitoring, controlling and optimizing to meet production targets, quality specifications and environmental regulations. This includes actively supporting plant performance, process optimization and production stability while maintaining strong focus on safety & compliance. The HYCO DCS Operator will execute daily tasks which include preparing and implementing safety work permits, LOTO, completing operations preventative maintenance activities, and assist the maintenance and engineering teams in preparing and executing corrective maintenance activities<br><br>Principal Accountabilities<br><br>Safety, Health & Environment<br><br>Maintain a safe & stable environment. Understand the cause & effect chart for all safety interlocks. Ensure all plant emissions (from reformer stack, vent streams) comply with environmental permits. Properly manage waste streams. Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by utilizing the BHIG Basic Safety Practice program<br><br>Technical & Operations<br><br>Operate the Steam Methane Reformer based hydrogen plant with CO2 Removal section & CO2 compression, PSA with Tail Gas compression, Membrane Unit and related utilities as prescribed by the Work Instruction Procedures Operate the pipeline network to supply Hydrogen, steam and CO2 to customers’ pipelines safely and efficiently. Report production progress and plant status to the Shift Supervisor and suggest solutions for any shortfalls. Manage plant production efficiently based on input provided by Plant Management to ensure safety and reliability targets are met to achieve maximum profitability. Ensure BHIG standards, and global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met. Meet the customer’s requirements regarding safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility regarding product supply. Maintain customer communications and relationships at the ‘board’ level, ensuring customer demand rates are satisfied while maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the facility. Follow the Site Work Instruction Manuals for production & supply of Product H2, CO2 & Steam along with other operating and maintenance procedures and checklists to meet the customer’s satisfaction with safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility of product supply while compliance with requirements. Maintain a relationship with the customer’s counterparts from other Refinery Units where from BHIG either receiving Feedstock, Utilities & Power or supplying Hydrogen and Steam to different Refinery Units on a regular basis through Refinery Shift Superintendent to ensure alignment of expectations for BHIG and the customers current and future product demand. Constantly monitor all process variables (flows, temperatures, pressures, levels, analytical values) via DCS to ensure they are within defined operating limits. Manipulate control loops, setpoints and cascades to maintain sable operations of all integrated units. Use historical data and trends to predict equipment performance degradation, identify inefficiencies and prevent potential trips and failures. Execute & supervise the detailed start up sequence for the entire plant or individual units/loops form a cold condition, warm condition or hot stand by condition, ensuring a smooth & safe transition to full load normal operations. Assist in the commissioning activities of the facility Maintain constant communication with field operators, providing instructions for equipment adjustments, isolations and rounds. Liaise with the maintenance team to co-ordinate equipment preparation for maintenance (isolation, purging & blinding) and safe taking equipment back in line. Conduct detailed and accurate shift handovers with incoming operators, highlighting any abnormalities, ongoing work and special instruction. Follow shift turnover protocols to ensure a safe and efficient handover to the following shift. Maintain accurate and timely logs of operating parameters, significant events and production data. Fully accountable to ensure his logs and that his operator’s logs are accurate and compliant with published matrix. Identify the root cause of process deviations and equipment malfunction. Work with engineers to implement long-term solutions. Suggest and participate in operational improvements and de-bottlenecking projects to enhance safety, reliability and profitability. Ensure compliance with all CM, PM tasks & Environmental Regulatory requirements. Support and prepare for Shutdown Planning and Turnaround Planning. Provide coaching and motivation with the field operations team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Establish & maintain close working relationships with engineering and maintenance personnel to continuously monitor & evaluate plant systems & equipment performance. Ensure compliance with process safety, MOC’s, and OPHR requirements. Provide operations support and participate in investigations and Root Cause Analysis to identify & implement sustainable corrective actions. Facilitate attainment of operational excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Communication of plant activities with other shifts to maintain continuity between shifts for a safe and reliable operation. Execute other duties as assigned by reporting managers in a timely and efficient manner.<br><br>Minimum Requirements And Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations with 10 years’ experience preferred. An Associate Technical Degree (2-year certificate) will be considered based on years of experience and competence. Experience in DCS Operation & Field Operation, with minimum of 5 years’ Lead DCS Operations Experience in SMR based Hydrogen or Ammonia or Methanol or Syngas plant as DCS Operator. Proficiency with DCS platforms (e.g. Yokogawa Centum VP, Siemens PCS 7) Deep understanding of Chemical Engineering Principles, thermodynamics and process control. Wide technical knowledge in operations, engineering, and maintenance activities Ability to maintain high level of awareness and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong problem solving and diagnostic abilities. Clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication. Proficiency in English speaking and writing. Ability to communicate with the customer at the board level daily. Able to communicate between operations and maintenance teams. BHIG focuses on supporting clean energy goals through low-carbon hydrogen production.<br><br>Reimagine What’s Possible<br><br>The HYCO Lead Operator, reporting to the HYCO Shift Supervisor, is accountable for the day-to-day DCS & Field Operation of HYCO facility, ensuring the production requirements set by the customer are achieved. HYCO Lead Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient and stable operation of the entire Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit from a centralized control room using DCS. This includes monitoring, controlling and optimizing to meet production targets, quality specifications and environmental regulations. This includes actively supporting plant performance, process optimization and production stability while maintaining strong focus on safety & compliance. The HYCO Lead Operator will execute daily tasks which include preparing and implementing safety work permits, LOTO, completing operations preventative maintenance activities, and assist the maintenance and engineering teams in preparing and executing corrective maintenance activities. Lead operator will handle the Shift lead responsibility in absence of Shift supervisor ensuring the business continuity.<br><br>Principal Accountabilities<br><br>Safety, Health & Environment<br><br>Maintain a safe & stable environment. Demonstrate leadership with all Company & Industry safe work processes to prevent all injuries. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for safety related activities. Enforce and adhere to all Safe Work Permits and Lock-out Tag-out and management of change procedures. Be the first line of response for process emergencies. Execute emergency operating procedures, initiate plant trips if necessary and direct field operators. Monitor status of Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and Fire & Gas Systems. Understand the cause & effect chart for all safety interlocks. Ensure all plant emissions (from reformer stack, vent streams) comply with environmental permits. Properly manage waste streams. Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by utilizing the BHIG Basic Safety Practice program <br><br>Technical & Operations<br><br>Operate the Steam Methane Reformer based hydrogen plant with CO2 Removal section & CO2 compression, PSA with Tail Gas compression, Membrane Unit and related utilities as prescribed by the Work Instruction Procedures Operate the pipeline network to supply Hydrogen, steam and CO2 to customers’ pipelines safely and efficiently. Report production progress and plant status to the Shift Supervisor and suggest solutions for any shortfalls. Manage plant production efficiently based on input provided by Plant Management to ensure safety and reliability targets are met to achieve maximum profitability. Ensure BHIG standards, and global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met. Meet the customer’s requirements regarding safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility regarding product supply. Maintain customer communications and relationships at the ‘board’ level, ensuring customer demand rates are satisfied while maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the facility. Follow the Site Work Instruction Manuals for production & supply of Product H2, CO2 & Steam along with other operating and maintenance procedures and checklists to meet the customer’s satisfaction with safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility of product supply while compliance with requirements. Maintain a relationship with the customer’s counterparts from other Refinery Units where from BHIG either receiving Feedstock, Utilities & Power or supplying Hydrogen and Steam to different Refinery Units on a regular basis through Refinery Shift Superintendent to ensure alignment of expectations for BHIG and the customers current and future product demand. Constantly monitor all process variables (flows, temperatures, pressures, levels, analytical values) via DCS to ensure they are within defined operating limits. Manipulate control loops, setpoints and cascades to maintain sable operations of all integrated units. Use historical data and trends to predict equipment performance degradation, identify inefficiencies and prevent potential trips and failures. Execute & supervise the detailed start up sequence for the entire plant or individual units/loops form a cold condition, warm condition or hot stand by condition, ensuring a smooth & safe transition to full load normal operations. Assist in the commissioning activities of the facility Maintain constant communication with field operators, providing instructions for equipment adjustments, isolations and rounds. Liaise with the maintenance team to co-ordinate equipment preparation for maintenance (isolation, purging & blinding) and safe taking equipment back in line. Conduct detailed and accurate shift handovers with incoming operators, highlighting any abnormalities, ongoing work and special instruction. Follow shift turnover protocols to ensure a safe and efficient handover to the following shift. Maintain accurate and timely logs of operating parameters, significant events and production data. Fully accountable to ensure his logs and that his operator’s logs are accurate and compliant with published matrix. Identify the root cause of process deviations and equipment malfunction. Work with engineers to implement long-term solutions. Suggest and participate in operational improvements and de-bottlenecking projects to enhance safety, reliability and profitability. Ensure compliance with all CM, PM tasks & Environmental Regulatory requirements. Support and prepare for Shutdown Planning and Turnaround Planning. Provide coaching and motivation with the field operations team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Establish & maintain close working relationships with engineering and maintenance personnel to continuously monitor & evaluate plant systems & equipment performance. Ensure compliance with process safety, MOC’s, and OPHR requirements. Provide operations support and participate in investigations and Root Cause Analysis to identify & implement sustainable corrective actions. Facilitate attainment of operational excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Communication of plant activities with other shifts to maintain continuity between shifts for a safe and reliable operation. Execute other duties as assigned by reporting managers in a timely and efficient manner. <br><br>Minimum Requirements And Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations with 10 years’ experience preferred. An Associate Technical Degree (2-year certificate) will be considered based on years of experience and competence. Experience in DCS Operation & Field Operation, with minimum of 5 years’ Lead DCS Operations Experience in SMR based Hydrogen or Ammonia or Methanol or Syngas plant as DCS Operator. Proficiency with DCS platforms (e.g. Yokogawa Centum VP, Siemens PCS 7) Deep understanding of Chemical Engineering Principles, thermodynamics and process control. Wide technical knowledge in operations, engineering, and maintenance activities Ability to maintain high level of awareness and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong problem solving and diagnostic abilities. Clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication. Proficiency in English speaking and writing. Ability to communicate with the customer at the board level daily. Able to communicate between operations and maintenance teams.
