Job Title: CSSD Technician Department: Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Reports To: CSSD Manager<br>Job Summary The CSSD Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, assembling, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment to support safe patient care.<br>Key Responsibilities Clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment in accordance with approved procedures Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes to ensure the effectiveness and quality of sterile supplies Maintain accurate sterilization records, equipment logs, and inventory documentation Comply with infection prevention standards, patient safety requirements, and hospital policies at all times<br>Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in CSSD/Sterile Processing Valid SCFHS professional classification and registration0-3 years of experience in sterile processing, CSSD, or a related healthcare environment Healthcare or hospital experience is preferred
