The Surveyor supports the Surveying team in carrying out land and engineering surveys for construction, infrastructure, and land development projects. The role involves assisting with field measurements, operating surveying equipment, collecting and processing survey data, and preparing survey documentation to ensure accurate information is available for project planning, design, and execution. The Assistant Surveyor contributes to delivering high-quality survey services while complying with company standards, project requirements, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist in setting up, operating, and calibrating surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, digital and automatic levels, and other surveying instruments. Conduct field surveys under the supervision of senior surveyors by measuring distances, elevations, coordinates, angles, and site features. Collect, record, and verify survey data accurately while following approved surveying procedures and quality standards. Support topographic, boundary, construction, as-built, and control surveys as required by project needs. Assist in processing and analyzing survey data for the preparation of maps, drawings, reports, and other survey deliverables. Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, survey records, and documentation. Assist in preparing survey plans, boundary descriptions, coordinate lists, and other technical documents. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of surveying equipment to ensure proper functionality. Report equipment defects or maintenance requirements promptly. Maintain the confidentiality of client, project, commercial and company's information.<br>Requirements Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience is required. Experience dealing with municipalities, ministries, regulatory bodies, or government authorities is preferred. Experience within engineering consultancy is preferred. Skills Well-versed in government entity procedures. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to organize priorities. Track regulatory and economic developments affecting the market.<br>Feasibility Studies Prepare financial, market, and technical feasibility studies for potential projects. Build financial models (cash flow, IRR, NPV, ROI, sensitivity analysis). Assess returns and risks and prepare investment recommendations.<br>Project Concept & Design Support Contribute to optimal project design in terms of product mix, areas, and uses.
