Job Purpose The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s governance, risk management, and compliance framework. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, corporate strategy, internal policies, and international standards, while safeguarding the organization from operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks. This position plays a key role in strengthening corporate governance, enhancing internal controls, promoting a risk-aware culture, and ensuring that business operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.<br>Key Responsibilities Governance Establish, implement, and maintain a corporate governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices. Ensure proper implementation of policies, procedures, authority matrices, and internal controls across the organization. Support Board and committee governance processes, including Audit Committee, Risk Committee, and other governance forums. Monitor governance practices and recommend improvements to enhance transparency, accountability, and decision-making. Ensure governance documentation, charters, and related records are maintained accurately and updated when required. Enterprise Risk Management Develop and implement an enterprise-wide risk management (ERM) framework. Identify, assess, monitor, and report key risks, including operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks. Maintain and update the corporate risk register in coordination with relevant departments. Ensure risk mitigation plans are developed, assigned, implemented, and monitored effectively. Conduct periodic risk assessments and provide recommendations to reduce exposure and improve business resilience. Compliance Management Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Develop, review, and enforce internal compliance policies and procedures. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization’s operations. Oversee compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements. Identify compliance gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions. Internal Controls & Audit Coordination Design, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure operational effectiveness. Coordinate with Internal Audit, external auditors, and relevant departments during audit activities. Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective action plans. Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements where required. Support management in addressing control weaknesses and reducing audit risks. Policies & Procedures Management Develop, review, update, and maintain corporate policies and procedures across key functions, including HR, Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments. Ensure policies are properly communicated, understood, and implemented across the organization. Standardize policy governance and ensure periodic reviews are conducted. Work with department owners to ensure procedures are practical, compliant, and aligned with business requirements. Reporting & Analytics Prepare periodic GRC reports for senior management, executive leadership, and Board-level committees. Report on risk exposure, compliance status, audit findings, internal control effectiveness, and mitigation progress. Develop and maintain GRC dashboards, KPIs, and performance indicators. Provide clear insights, trends, and recommendations to support informed decision-making. Ensure GRC reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with management expectations. Training & Awareness Develop and conduct GRC awareness programs across the organization. Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, ethics, and risk awareness. Provide guidance to departments on governance, risk, compliance, policies, and internal control requirements. Support employees and leaders in understanding their responsibilities related to GRC. Strategic Advisory Align the GRC strategy with corporate objectives and business priorities. Advise executive management on governance, risk, and compliance implications of business decisions. Support strategic initiatives by identifying risks, compliance considerations, and control requirements. Recommend practical solutions that balance regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and business efficiency.<br>Key KPIsCompliance rate with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Number of audit findings and audit closure rate. Effectiveness of risk mitigation plans. Reduction in compliance violations and control breaches. Internal control effectiveness. Completion rate of GRC awareness and training programs.<br>Qualifications & Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, Risk Management, Governance, or a related field. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field is preferred.<br>Professional Certifications Preferred certifications include one or more of the following:GRCP – Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional. GRCA – Governance, Risk and Compliance Auditor. CRMA – Certification in Risk Management Assurance. CIA – Certified Internal Auditor. CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor. ISO 31000 Risk Management certification. ISO 37301 Compliance Management certification. PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.<br>Experience Minimum 7–10 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, internal controls, audit, or related fields. Proven experience in establishing or managing GRC frameworks. Experience in enterprise risk management, policy governance, compliance monitoring, and audit coordination. Experience working with senior management, committees, internal audit, external auditors, and regulatory stakeholders. Experience in Saudi regulatory environments is preferred.<br>Technical & Professional Skills Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, ERM, compliance management, and internal control practices. The successful candidate will be confident in speaking to expert speakers from all over the world and selling the unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge and expertise at our event. With meticulous organisational skills, you will be responsible for managing the speakers and order of show on-site at the event.<br><br>Your focus will be on Kingdom of Gaming, the region’s most powerful gaming marketplace, so a background in technology or gaming events is essential.<br><br>What You Will Do<br><br>Conference Production <br><br>Produce high-level relevant industry conference programmes. Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of conference programmes. Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance. Ensure the speaker database is updated to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management. Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the Marketing team. Assist providing leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate. Mentor other conference producers within the team. Conduct a post-show analysis of the event including job title analysis <br><br>Market Research and Industry Networks<br><br>Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market. Develop new conference ideas and programme content through meetings and tele-research with key experts. Collaborate with the Exhibition Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio. Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies related to the event. Maintain existing and build new relationships develop a conference with topics and speakers. Look at additional add-ons and other ways of attracting more delegates i.e. workshops, poster sessions, partnering with associations etc. <br><br>Speaker & Delegate Liaison <br><br>Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may require longer working hours <br><br>Qualifications<br><br>What you will bring<br><br>Extensive proven experience in conference production, with a focus on the tech or gaming sectors. 1. Responsible for product planning for overseas business, with a strong focus on the development and category management of Private Brand (PB) products.<br>2. Formulate product strategies and category structures that align with local consumer needs, based on local market trends and user behavior.<br>3. Identify business opportunities, optimize product assortment, and continuously enhance product competitiveness through data analysis and market research.<br>4. Lead the end-to-end process of new product development, including product selection, positioning, packaging, pricing, and marketing coordination, to strengthen the market competitiveness of PB products.<br>5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, procurement, quality control, and operations to ensure effective execution of product planning and achievement of business goals.<br>6.
