<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Responsible for providing high quality care in diagnosis and treatment of Plastic disease and pathologies in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Hospital policies and procedures. Provide consultation on timely fashion and share on-call schedule as outlined by the Head Section. Actively Partcipate in teaching and promote research.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties</p><p>I. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ol><li>Admits patients with Plastic Surgery pathologies and takes responsibility for their care, diagnosis and managements.</li><li>Provides high quality patient care in all aspects of Plastic Surgery according to his/her approval clinical privileges and in accordance with standards of medical care lay down by KFSH&RC(Gen. Org.).</li><li>Takes informed consent and explain to the patient all the risk and benefits associate with his/her management and highlight the alternative treatment.</li><li>Works will other support service Departments and medical specializations to provide appropriate and timely consultation and medical care, in accordance with the standards lay down by KFSH&RC(Gen. Org.).</li><li>Complies with all Hospital standards and policies pertaining to acceptance, eligibility, admission process, consultation, daily patient care, operating room, outpatient practice, and, patient discharge.</li><li>Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.</li><li>Assess patients disease or condition to determined appropriate therapeutic modalities/procedures. Initiates and endures findings are recorded.</li><li>Conducts ward rounds as per policy and reassesses inpatients under care. Documents findings in medical records. ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ol><li>Teach and supervise junior staff on patient management, especially in the field of Plastic Surgery.</li><li>Guides and actively participates in the training of Residents, Fellows, Assistant Consultant and Junior Staff.</li><li>Keeps up with the latest techniques and developments, especially in the field of Plastic Surgery, following and implementing them in selective technical standards.</li><li>Actively participates in the education activities and training programs of the Department.</li><li>Attend and present in Regional, National and/or International Medical Conference at least once a year</li></ol><p>III. The CVRM Emerging portfolioMedical Lead reports to the KSA BBU Medical Director and member of the KSA BBU Medical Affairs Leadership team..
