About the Role<br>Prepare accurate cost estimates for Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) products and projects, from raw material takeoffs through fabrication and installation, supporting competitive and profitable bids for the GRC factory.<br><br>Responsibilities<br>Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for GRC panels, cladding, and architectural precast elements. Develop cost estimates covering raw materials (cement, glass fiber, admixtures), moulds, labor, production overheads, transportation, and installation. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for materials and specialized works. Analyze technical drawings to determine panel sizes, mix designs, mould requirements, and reinforcement details. Prepare bid summaries, cost comparisons, and value engineering recommendations. Liaise with design, production, and procurement teams to validate quantities and specifications. Track actual production costs against estimates and update historical cost databases. Support contract negotiations by providing cost breakdowns and clarifications. Maintain estimating records and ensure compliance with company estimating procedures.<br><br>Qualifications<br>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.3–6 years of estimating experience, ideally within GRC, precast concrete, or facade/cladding manufacturing. Strong knowledge of GRC materials, mix design principles, and production processes. Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Excel, and estimating software. Solid understanding of BOQ preparation, takeoff methods, and cost analysis. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).<br><br>Required Skills<br><br>Strong knowledge of GRC materials, mix design principles, and production processes.
