This covers both onshore and offshore facilities located in various cities across the Kingdom, such as Buqayq, Riyadh, Ras Tannurah, Dhahran, Jeddah, Yanbu, and Jazan.</p> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Core Responsibilities</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Implement and manage the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System (SMS) across drilling and workover operations.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Inspect onshore and offshore drilling rigs, workover equipment, and support facilities.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Apply in-depth knowledge of well control equipment and procedures.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Identify, evaluate, and mitigate critical safety risks, including work at height, LOTO/isolation, permit-to-work, H2S, confined space entry, and excavations.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Conduct PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, compliance reviews, incident investigations, and insurance surveys.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Develop and review corporate safety standards and procedures for upstream operations.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Review oil and gas field facility designs for compliance with company and industry HSE standards.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Develop and support Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and attend emergency drills as an observer.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Respond to emergency situations and incidents during and outside regular working hours.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Investigate all incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Deliver Loss Prevention training to employees, contractors, and external parties.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Mentor junior HSE and loss prevention personnel.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Candidate Requirements</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;"><strong style="font-weight:700;">Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;"><strong style="font-weight:700;">Experience:</strong> A minimum of 7 years of experience in upstream oil and gas, specifically in HSE officer, drilling safety, loss prevention, or an equivalent role. This experience must cover drilling &amp; workover operations, well planning, reservoir management, geology and geophysics, upstream facility project management, oil and gas field development, SIMOPS, and offshore/onshore rig safety inspections.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;"><strong style="font-weight:700;">Technical Knowledge:</strong> Demonstrated proficiency in well control procedures, rig safety inspections, managerial audits, safety programme development, and emergency response planning.
