<li><b>Primary Purpose of the job</b><br>Manage the assigned warehouse in accordance with Sadafco SOP's and ensure best practice is implemented where appropriate and drive necessary changes when identified. Identify and implement constant improvements, staff coaching and development so as to ensure that the service to our customers internally and externally is exceptional and beyond reproach.</li>
<li><b>Key Accountabilities</b><br>- Manage the assigned warehouse operation to deliver optimum quality, performance and cost effectiveness.<br>- Plan and organize stock in the warehouse against constantly changing operational requirements to ensure availability of inventory to meet those requirements and to ensure processes are followed for improved security and inventory management.<br>- Manage all warehouse activities including the daily deployment of all staff to ensure optimum efficiency and monitoring of all absences, including holidays and unauthorized absence.<br>- Monitor and report the performance of Warehouse Operations to include agreed KPI's including damage to stock. Ensure inbound is cleared as quickly as possible and all outbound orders are completed and dispatched to schedule, including “emergency” orders as they arise.<br>- Coordinate with the Transport department on all the logistics associated with distribution of stock and between external warehouse locations.<br>- Ensure warehouse operations are in compliance with relevant customer contractual obligations and all publicized procedures and regulations to include Quality, Health and Safety<br>- Develop, implement and monitor operational reporting procedures to ensure compliance. Suggest and drive improvements in the operations, as required.<br>- Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor on the maintenance of all equipment & machinery in the warehouse to maintain continuity of the operations.<br>- Manage the performance of the warehouse team including rosters, performance reviews, learning and development, disciplinary matters and managing resource levels to cover all needs of the Operation by liaising with the Operations Manager as and when required.<br>- Perform other duties as requested by the Operation Manager.</li>
