Performs a variety of laboratory testing and related tasks. Operates automated testing equipment. Performs routine procedural steps of laboratory tests.</p><br><br>Essential Responsibilities and Duties<br><p>1. Monitors and resolves problems related to specimen processes and activities of the Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Assistants.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>2. Receives sorts and accessions lab specimens in ICIS and processes them by manual and automated methods and contacts phlebotomists, nurses, and doctors as required to solve specimen-related problems.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>3. Views activities orders in ICIS and prints both collection and aliquot labels.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>4. Performs separate procedural steps of less complex laboratory testing procedures to obtain results for diagnosis of patient diseases.&nbsp;</p><br><br><p>5.
