The Expert Rapid Ranger System Engineer will support the MTSD (Maintenance & Technical Support Department ) and the (Claint) during the maintenance contract<br>Responsibilities : Actively advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty. Monitoring and analyzing factors that affect operational availability, RAPIDRanger system performance, support chain performance, and recommending/implementing corrective actions locally but also with the team located in UK. Evaluating performance of RAPIDRanger systems, data handling and communication equipment. Monitoring the Built-In Test equipment\software, analyze the results and recommend improvements. Performing intermediate level maintenance (Field Maintenance FM) in his specialty as required. Perform diagnostic checks, specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the RAPIDRanger to ensure it remain operationally ready. Diagnosis and isolates complex electronic problems between the hardware, software and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using a variety of electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self-checks, BITE, and tools and test equipment. Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions and travel to remote sites to perform software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On the Job Training (OJT). To ensure the readiness of the RAPIDRanger system, communicate with the Contractor Experts in Europe to find solutions and fix malfunctions in case the engineer is unable to remedy errors alone Supporting and Transferring expertise and knowledge to Saudi technicians.
