This role involves preparing and reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and calculations for power distribution and control systems related to ventilation equipment. The Electrical Project Engineer will coordinate with mechanical, civil, and project teams to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient electrical solutions, and will participate in site surveys, installation oversight, testing, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to relevant standards and certifications, preparing technical documentation, supporting procurement with technical specifications, and providing technical guidance to project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and practical knowledge of electricity principles applicable to industrial and HVAC systems. Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparation of schematics, layouts, and calculations for building services and ventilation projects. Experience with Power Systems and Power Distribution, including load analysis, panel schedules, and protection coordination. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Experience in HVAC, ventilation, or building services projects, preferably in industrial or large-scale infrastructure environments. Familiarity with international and regional electrical codes and standards, and awareness of safety and quality management systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, electrical design tools), and prepare clear documentation. This role works across a Python/Django codebase with a strong backend lean most of your time on services, data, and integrations, while comfortably handling the front end when the feature needs it. The Marketplace is customer-facing, so fast, low-latency API response times are a core goal.<br>Key Responsibilities:Build, ship, and operate Django backend services and full-stack features. Own your work end to end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support. Build and maintain integrations with internal and external services. Write clear, maintainable code and contribute to the squad's technical decisions.<br>Qualifications: Mid–senior full-stack engineer, backend-strong, with solid Python / Django experience. 3–5 years of professional full-stack experience. Strong fundamentals: API design, data modeling, relational databases, testing. Comfortable across the stack — can build and debug front-end features when needed. Performance-minded: keeps API response times low through query tuning, caching, and profiling.
