Production Manager – Aircraft Hangar Door Manufacturing<br>We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacture and delivery of large-scale aircraft hangar door systems.<br>This is a specialist role for someone with strong experience in steel fabrication, and production management, ideally within aircraft hangar doors, industrial door systems or large engineered metal structures.<br>Key responsibilities Manage the complete production process for aircraft hangar door systems. Plan workshop capacity, labour, materials and production schedules. Oversee steel fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing and quality inspections. Ensure manufacturing is completed in line with approved drawings, specifications and project deadlines. Coordinate closely with design, engineering, procurement, quality and site-installation teams. Review fabrication drawings, bills of materials and production requirements. Monitor productivity, manufacturing costs, material usage and workshop performance. Coordinate with SACO stores and premises managers and schedule regular visits to check the needed preventive and corrective maintenance works of the stores and premises in the region. Respond to the regular building maintenance request of the SACO stores and premises and solve emergency building maintenance issues of the region. Organize, schedule and dispatch building maintenance teams to perform the SACO stores and premises maintenance requests and assigned tasks. Coordinate and make arrangements with manufacturer service companies (Elevators and Escalators) for equipment breakdowns, repairs and periodic maintenance and checking of the work performed. Search, evaluate and recommend to the Engineering Manager qualified contractors and suppliers to undertake building construction and maintenance work and supply needed materials in the region. Prepare CAPEX/OPEX requests, payments requests, petty cash expenses, travel expenses, overtime payments and all other documentary approvals of the region and ensure that standard procedures and company policies are followed and sending to the Engineering Manager for approval. Handle the petty cash for maintenance expenses of the region and ensure proper spending and reporting in accordance with the standard procedures and company policies. Review and confirm or make remarks on the monthly time sheet of the Engineering staff in the region. Prepare weekly, monthly and year end reports for the staff evaluation, expenses and accomplishments of the Engineering Department in the region and participate in the scheduled meetings.<br>Required Educational Level:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Required Experience: 3 years proven working experience as Projects or Building Maintenance Engineer.
