Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and drive the quality assurance function across multiple projects and products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Manual Testing and API Testing, along with proven experience in managing QA teams, defining test strategies, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Exposure to test automation is preferred but not mandatory. API & Application Testing * Lead API testing initiatives using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms. * Ensure validation of API requests, responses, authentication mechanisms, integrations, and error handling. * Oversee testing of web, mobile, enterprise, and integration-based applications. Defect & Release Management * Monitor defect lifecycle management and ensure timely resolution of critical issues. * Conduct defect triage meetings and collaborate with development teams on issue prioritization. * Assess release readiness and provide quality sign-off for deployments. * Support production validation and post-release testing activities. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration * Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Project Managers. * Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning activities. * Provide regular status reports, quality metrics, risk assessments, and executive-level updates. * Act as the primary QA point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Process Improvement & Governance * Establish QA governance practices and quality KPIs. * Drive test process optimization and risk-based testing approaches. * Promote Agile testing practices and quality ownership across teams. * Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements where applicable. Required Skills * Strong experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance Management. * Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. * Proven experience leading QA teams and managing testing activities across multiple projects. * Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and release management. * Experience in preparing and reviewing test plans, test strategies, test cases, and quality reports. * Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing. * Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or similar. * Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Preferred Skills * Exposure to Automation Testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices. * Experience with Performance Testing and Security Testing. * Experience managing distributed or offshore QA teams. * Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or Fintech domains. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 2–3 years in a QA Lead or QA Manager role. * Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or equivalent are a plus. You'll own the relationships, deals, and ecosystem presence that bring fintechs, exchanges, brokerages, banks, primes, regulators, and government institutions into Alpaca's orbit across the Middle East.<br><br>This is a rare opportunity to build Alpaca's regional presence largely from the ground up, at the firm that pioneered instant tokenized equities. About the role Every lead that comes to Whee Keep — web, Whats App, calls, campaigns — lands with you. This is not a support desk. You own the conversion of those leads into paid storage contracts, and you carry a monthly revenue target for doing it.
