<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design within the building services sector, with previous experience on entertainment projects. The candidate will be ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Your role Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other specialized electrical installations for different types of buildings, previous experience in different types of projects; offices, residential, commercial buildings..etc. Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and regulations. Specify materials and components, including cables, transformers, panels, and switchgear. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the building design. Conduct site assessments to understand project requirements and constraints. Work closely with contractors and other teams during construction and installation to ensure designs are properly implemented. Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases. Perform electrical load calculations and energy analysis to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure all designs meet local codes, standards (BS, IEC, IET, NEC, NFPA, CIBSE, IESNA, ISO,..etc), and client specifications. Familiar with the local country codes of middle east and gulf countries. Conduct regular design reviews and ensure designs comply with environmental and safety regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure designs remain cutting-edge and compliant. Resolve any electrical design-related issues that arise during construction or operation. Offer solutions to challenges in electrical system integration, functionality, or cost efficiency. Proficiency in the following software list: Dialux, Relux and Dialux Evo. ETAP. ProDesign. Generator sizing software. Lightning protection calculation software. (IEC, strikerisk,..etc) MS office</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering, specifically within the building services sector. Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, or similar tools). Familiarity with building regulations, safety standards, and electrical codes (NEC, BS7671, etc.). Previous experience with entertainment projects is essential. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, emergency systems, and renewable energy integration. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Professional accreditation or membership (e.g., IET, CIBSE, or equivalent) is a plus. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for electrical design. Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines</p>

Missions/Main Duties
<br><ul><li>Provide overall leadership and technical management of the Design-Build Contractor’s CBTC signaling team to ensure successful delivery of the signaling system in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and performance objectives.</li><li>Lead and develop the rail signaling team while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.</li><li>Coordinate with the client, regulatory authorities, Design-Build Contractor, and other stakeholders to manage signaling-related matters and project interfaces.</li><li>Participate in design review meetings and ensure compliance with signaling system specifications, requirements, and project objectives.</li><li>Conduct technical reviews of signaling systems, including Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), and Automatic Train Regulation (ATR).</li><li>Manage signaling interfaces and system integration activities with other railway disciplines and systems, including platform screen doors.</li><li>Monitor and review signaling system design, implementation, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Support the resolution of technical, operational, and logistical issues related to signaling systems and interfaces.</li><li>Review design submissions and provide recommendations to address critical design and integration challenges.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, analyses, evaluations, and recommendations related to signaling design and project delivery.</li><li>Monitor and report progress against project schedules, budgets, specifications, and performance requirements.</li><li>Support the Programme Director in managing change, variations, risks, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Promote value engineering initiatives and identify potential claims, counterclaims, and specification deviations requiring management attention.</li></ul>
Profile/Skills
<br><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 12 years of experience on large-scale infrastructure or civil projects with significant systems interface and integration responsibilities.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in rail signaling design, installation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of commuter or metro rail systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC), Automatic Train Control (ATC), and trackside signaling systems.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of metro signaling standards, procedures, and industry-recognized engineering software packages.</li><li>Experience in design consultancy environments and contractor management, including contractual administration and correspondence.</li><li>Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial management skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within multinational and multidisciplinary project environments.</li></ul>
