Missions/Main Duties
<br><ul><li>Provide overall leadership and technical management of the Design-Build Contractor’s CBTC signaling team to ensure successful delivery of the signaling system in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and performance objectives.</li><li>Lead and develop the rail signaling team while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.</li><li>Coordinate with the client, regulatory authorities, Design-Build Contractor, and other stakeholders to manage signaling-related matters and project interfaces.</li><li>Participate in design review meetings and ensure compliance with signaling system specifications, requirements, and project objectives.</li><li>Conduct technical reviews of signaling systems, including Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), and Automatic Train Regulation (ATR).</li><li>Manage signaling interfaces and system integration activities with other railway disciplines and systems, including platform screen doors.</li><li>Monitor and review signaling system design, implementation, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Support the resolution of technical, operational, and logistical issues related to signaling systems and interfaces.</li><li>Review design submissions and provide recommendations to address critical design and integration challenges.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, analyses, evaluations, and recommendations related to signaling design and project delivery.</li><li>Monitor and report progress against project schedules, budgets, specifications, and performance requirements.</li><li>Support the Programme Director in managing change, variations, risks, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Promote value engineering initiatives and identify potential claims, counterclaims, and specification deviations requiring management attention.</li></ul>
