Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and Method Statements. Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria. Confirm stability before progression to system testing. L4 – System Functional Testing Coordinate and witness system functional tests. Verify sequences of operation and system responses. Validate resilience and recovery outcomes for assigned systems. Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Saudi Arabia<br>Role Purpose The Electrical Engineer supports the delivery of electrical works by assisting in the review, coordination, and implementation of design and construction activities on site. Working under the guidance of the Senior Electrical Engineer and reporting to the Design Manager, the role contributes to shop drawing reviews, site inspections, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role is primarily site-focused, with responsibility for resolving day-to-day construction issues and supporting technical workflows. As part of this, the Electrical Engineer is expected to actively contribute to drafting, detailing, and preparation of sketches, mark-ups, and redline drawings using CAD/BIM tools where required (e.g., cable routing adjustments, containment coordination, temporary power solutions), ensuring timely and practical solutions without over-reliance on dedicated drafting resources.<br>DUTIES PREFORMED Key Accountabilities Key Activities Site & Construction Support (Electrical) Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support on site, addressing construction queries, RFIs, and technical clarifications. Review electrical works (power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, containment, earthing) to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Identify electrical site issues, discrepancies, or non-conformances and report to the Senior Electrical Engineer. Coordinate electrical activities with architectural, structural, mechanical, and fit-out works to avoid clashes and execution conflicts. Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems. Prepare and update sketches, mark-ups, and simple electrical drawings/details using CAD tools to support site execution. Assist in producing redline drawings and as-built markups based on actual site conditions. Provide hands-on drafting support (Auto CAD/Revit/BIM tools) when required to resolve site issues efficiently. Ensure all sketches/drawings issued are clear, coordinated, and aligned with approved design intent. Shop Drawings, Submittals & As-Built Management Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements under supervision. Ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and project standards. Assist in preparing technical comments and tracking submittal status. Verify that approved shop drawings and materials are correctly implemented on site. Support preparation and validation of electrical as-built drawings and documentation. Technical Queries, RFIs & NCR Management Assist in preparing responses to RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), and site clarifications. Support investigation and close-out of NCRs, observations, and quality issues. Coordinate with the Senior Electrical Engineer to resolve technical and coordination issues. Maintain records of technical correspondence and site decisions. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on electrical matters. Interface with other disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, etc.) for coordinated delivery. Attend coordination meetings and provide updates to senior team members. Ensure proper use of document control systems and project workflows. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing Develop knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and coordination processes. Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives. Seek guidance from senior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Job Summary Mobco Group is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our project team in Khobar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities, with strong knowledge of both Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Current Systems. The candidate must be capable of coordinating with project stakeholders and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities at the project site. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Manage Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, including power distribution networks. Coordinate and supervise Low Current Systems, including:Fire Alarm Systems CCTV Systems Access Control Systems Public Address Systems Structured Cabling Systems Building Management Systems (BMS) Ensure compliance with project specifications, Saudi regulations, and international standards. Prepare RFIs, method statements, inspection requests, and progress reports. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues. Monitor project progress and ensure completion within approved schedules. Review material submittals and participate in technical evaluations. Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.4–10 years of relevant experience in construction and electrical engineering projects. Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Low Current Systems. Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC requirements, and international electrical standards. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Requirements Previous experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia. Experience in testing and commissioning activities. Knowledge of electrical load calculations and power distribution systems. Ability to join immediately is mandatory. Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred.
