The role ensures installations, testing, and commissioning are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards.</p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Oversee and Supervise installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, piping, and equipment.</li><li>Ensure all works are completed as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.</li><li>Monitor daily activities and ensure progress meets project timelines.</li><li>Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities.</li><li>Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.</li><li>Verify quantities and ensure correct materials are delivered and used on site.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and verify work quality.</li><li>Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil works to avoid clashes.</li><li>Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with site safety rules and HSE procedures.</li><li>Implement quality control procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs).</li><li>Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure installation meets industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).</li><li>Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.</li><li>Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment for work progress.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of mechanical items.</li><li>Communicate technical issues or delays to the project manager.</li><li>Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.</li><li>Maintain records of inspections, tests, and mechanical activities.</li><li>Assist in preparing as-built drawings and O&M documentation.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of commissioning results.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of mechanical works.</li><li>Support BIM coordination by aligning site execution with approved models to reduce clashes, rework, and delays.</li><li>Stay informed on the latest trends, materials and technology in the industry to keep our projects at the forefront of innovation.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><p>Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.</p><p>6+ years of experience in mechanical site execution (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, MEP, or related fields).</p><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b><ul><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical calculations (duct sizing, pump head, pipe sizing).</li><li>Familiarity with commissioning procedures.</li><li>Proficiency in softwares such as AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of relevant international codes (IEC, NEC, BS, local regulations) and standards.</li><li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and technical excellence.</li><li>Strong understanding of project workflows, timelines, and coordination across all project phases.</li><li>Excellent in speaking Arabic and English languages.</li><li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.</li><li>Excellent organization and time management skills.</li></ul><b>Working conditions and Environment:</b><p>The position is site based.</p><p>The position may have occasional international travel requirements.</p><p></p></section>
