This role ensures that interior/exterior architectural executions, finishing materials, fixtures, and spatial layouts strictly comply with approved design drawings, mock-ups, project specifications, and quality standards.<br><br>This role works closely with the site engineering team and technical team, contractor teams, and project QA/QC and HSE personnel to maintain high standards of architectural workmanship and material compliance on-site.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>• Conduct daily routine site inspections for ongoing architectural works, internal and external.<br><br>• Verify that all architectural materials delivered to the site match approved Material Approval Requests (MARs), sample boards, and project specifications.<br><br>• Inspect work against approved mock-ups, shop drawings, and finish schedules to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and finish quality.<br><br>• Log architectural non-conformances, issue internal snag lists, and perform re-inspections to ensure closed-out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and punch-list items are properly rectified.<br><br>• Review and coordinate with the technical team for contractor technical submittals, material samples, shop drawings, and Requests for Inspection (RFIs) related to architectural packages.<br><br>• Verify that builder's works, MEP penetrations, and access panels are neatly integrated into architectural surfaces without compromising aesthetics or functional integrity.<br><br>• Coordinate on-site with civil, structural, and MEP inspectors to ensure proper sequencing of architectural works.<br><br>• Ensure architectural details comply with accessibility standards, fire-rated assembly requirements, and room function specifications across all facilities (administrative, security, and operational spaces).<br><br>• Monitor contractor daily progress and architectural activities and fit-out trades.<br><br>• Maintain accurate daily inspection logs and inspection request (WIR/IR) records.<br><br>• Assist the Senior Site Supervision Engineer in preparing data for weekly and monthly progress reports regarding architectural milestones.<br><br>• Collaborate with the HSE Team during site walks to ensure safe working environments for finishing trades, particularly regarding scaffolding setups, elevated work platforms, dust control, and paint/chemical storage safety.<br><br><br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s Degree, Architectural Engineering, or a relevant discipline. Minimum of 10+ years of direct site inspection experience in architectural finishes, interior fit-outs, building envelopes, and multi-building complex construction. Aviation Experience is preferred Prior site experience on aviation building projects, high-spec commercial buildings, or large-scale multi-facility complexes is preferred. Deep practical knowledge of architectural construction activities and installation methods. Ability to read and interpret detailed architectural shop drawings, finish schedules, and material specs. Familiarity with local building codes, international architectural quality standards, and fire-rated assembly requirements. Proficiency in document control platforms (Aconex), CAD software (Auto CAD), and MS Office. Proven experience in the inspection of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, gas, and fuel oil systems, including AHUs, FCU’s, ETSs room, and lift stations. Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration. Data Center and Aviation project experience is desirable. Quality Control or Quality Assurance certification is considered an added value advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; working knowledge of BIM and Auto CAD is preferred. Experience on large-scale PMCM, infrastructure, transportation, building, mixed-use, industrial, or utility projects. Aviation projects are highly desirable. Previous experience working for Engineering Consultants, PMCM Consultants, or Supervision Consultants preferred. GCC/KSA experience is highly desirable.
