Egis has long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers.<br><br><br><br>Job Description<br><br>We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector (Saudi National) to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Perform on-site mechanical inspections of equipment, systems, and components to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and standards Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential issues during inspections Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve mechanical issues Verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical inspection Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as required Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all on-site activities<br><br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Proven track record in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, gas, and fuel system inspections Previous experience in engineering consultancies is preferred Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and material specifications Strong proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques, quality control protocols, and industry compliance standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, and local Saudi codes) Skilled in using inspection, documentation, and reporting tools/software Solid understanding of construction sequencing and the project lifecycle Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve site issues efficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting High level of accuracy and attention to detail to maintain quality standards Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments
