Site Telecom Engineer Project: HV/EHV Substation Position: Site Telecom Engineer Job Summary The Site Telecom Engineer is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, integration, of telecommunication and communication systems associated with HV/EHV substation projects. The engineer will coordinate with construction, electrical, protection, SCADA, and commissioning teams to ensure all telecom systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.<br>Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor the installation of telecom systems and equipment at HV/EHV substations. Review approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals. Coordinate telecom works with electrical, protection, SCADA, civil, and control system teams. Ensure proper installation, termination, labeling, and testing of telecom cables, fiber-optic cables, and associated equipment.
