This role will provide technical expertise across electrical design review, commissioning, operational readiness, and facility operations for complex data center environments.</p><br><p>The ideal candidate has strong direct data center experience and a deep understanding of critical electrical infrastructure supporting Tier III and Tier IV facilities. The candidate should be capable of reviewing electrical systems for operability, maintainability, reliability, resiliency, and compliance with client operational standards.</p><br><p>This is a hands-on, client-facing technical role focused on electrical system performance, operational risk, procedure development, commissioning support, and operational readiness. The role requires strong technical writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to develop, review, and validate Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operating Procedures, and Methods of Procedure.</p><br><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><br><ul><li>Provide technical expertise for critical data center electrical systems, including utility service, medium-voltage distribution, high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, static transfer switches, automatic transfer switches, power distribution units, remote power panels, busway systems, emergency generators, generator paralleling systems, battery energy storage systems, grounding and bonding systems, protective relaying, and power monitoring systems.</li><li>Review electrical designs, commissioning reports, test procedures, and technical documentation for operability, maintainability, reliability, resiliency, and alignment with client operational standards.</li><li>Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, commissioning reviews, operational readiness assessments, technical workshops, and project meetings.</li><li>Evaluate electrical infrastructure, system performance, operational risks, redundancy, maintenance strategies, and reliability requirements across mission-critical environments.</li><li>Develop, review, edit, and validate Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operating Procedures, and Methods of Procedure in alignment with client standards and industry best practices.</li><li>Conduct technical procedure reviews to confirm operational accuracy, risk mitigation, maintainability, and safe execution.</li><li>Facilitate procedure validation exercises, tabletop reviews, change management reviews, and operational governance activities.</li><li>Support commissioning and operational acceptance by verifying that electrical systems operate in accordance with design intent and client reliability objectives.</li><li>Prepare clear and technically accurate documentation, including engineering reports, risk assessments, operating procedures, technical evaluations, and operational readiness documentation.</li><li>Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, commissioning, construction, operations, contractor, and stakeholder teams.</li><li>Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during client engagements, as required.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><br><p><strong>Required qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.</li><li>Minimum <strong>10 years</strong> of electrical engineering, commissioning, operations, mission-critical engineering, or related technical experience.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years</strong> of direct experience in mission-critical or data center environments.</li><li>Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center electrical design, electrical commissioning, critical facility operations, or mission-critical engineering.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure supporting critical facilities, including power distribution, backup power, electrical protection, monitoring, and critical environment systems.</li><li>Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing, editing, or validating SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs.</li><li>Strong understanding of critical environment operational practices, including change management, permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout, energized electrical work procedures, switching procedures, risk assessments, incident response, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and continuous improvement practices.</li><li>Working knowledge of mission-critical industry standards, codes, and operational best practices, including ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, IEC, Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942, BICSI, applicable international building, fire, energy, and local authority requirements.</li><li>Ability to interpret engineering standards and apply them to real-world data center design, commissioning, operations, maintenance, operational readiness, and emergency response.</li><li>Excellent technical writing, documentation, This is a non operational position that manages and assures the MEP technical scope across the design and build lifecycle on behalf of the client, rather than running day to day operations or maintenance. Sitting in the Engineering & Safety function, the role provides technical leadership, design governance, interface coordination, and safety by design oversight for all MEP systems in stations, depots, tunnels, ancillary facilities, and line wide assets. The post ensures consultants and contractors deliver safe, compliant, coordinated, and constructible MEP solutions that meet employer s requirements, rail standards, and regulatory expectations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>1. Client Representation & Governance (Integrated Office)</p><ul><li>Act as the primary technical MEP focal point within the integrated client office for transportation/rail projects.</li><li>Represent the client in design reviews, technical workshops, progress meetings, and risk forums with consultants, contractors, independent reviewers, and authorities.</li><li>Interpret, communicate, and safeguard employer s requirements and technical standards for MEP; ensure they are embedded in contracts, designs, and deliverables.</li><li>Provide independent, objective advice and recommendations to client leadership on MEP technical issues, risks, and impacts on scope, time, cost, and safety.</li></ul><p>2. Interfaces with Civil, Architecture, Rail Systems & Operations</p><ul><li>Coordinate MEP interfaces with: Architecture and civil/structural works (plant spaces, shafts, penetrations, loadings, access/egress) Rail systems (signalling, telecoms, traction power, screen doors, fare collection, security systems) Track, rolling stock, depot equipment, and line side equipment Operations and maintenance requirements (access, redundancy, maintenance regimes, reliability)</li><li>Manage interface registers for MEP related issues and drive early resolution to avoid clashes and late design changes.</li><li>Ensure MEP design accommodates operational scenarios (normal, degraded, emergency), particularly for fire & life safety and tunnel ventilation.</li></ul><p>4. Safety, Engineering & Compliance (Non Operational)</p><ul><li>Embed safety by design principles in all MEP solutions, with a particular focus on: Fire detection, alarm, protection, and smoke control systems Emergency lighting, power, and evacuation support systems Ventilation and environmental control for stations, tunnels, and technical spaces</li><li>Review and monitor MEP contributions to RAMS , safety cases, hazard logs, and risk assessments.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering & Safety, independent safety assessors (ISA) , and regulators where MEP systems influence passenger and system safety.</li><li>Ensure all MEP systems meet authority and civil defense requirements; track approvals, NOCs, and certifications against program milestones.</li></ul><p>5. Design Build Coordination & Construction Support</p><ul><li>From a PMC perspective, ensure MEP designs are aligned with construction methodologies and sequencing; flag constructability and access issues early.</li><li>Review contractors MEP construction methods, installation strategies, and temporary works (e.g., temporary ventilation, power, fire systems) for technical robustness and safety.</li><li>Support the client in evaluating and approving MEP related design changes, technical deviations, and value engineering proposals.</li><li>Provide senior technical input on MEP RFIs, non conformance reports, and site technical queries, coordinating with designers and contractors for timely resolutions.</li><li>Oversee quality of as built MEP documentation and ensure alignment with approved designs and technical requirements.</li></ul><p>6. ACWA Operations:At Acwa Operations, we make essential services dependable and efficient for the millions of people who rely on them every day. Formerly NOMAC (The First National Operations & Maintenance Company), we are the operations and maintenance arm of Acwa, focused on keeping power generation and water desalination assets running safely, reliably and cost-effectively across their full lifecycle. Since 2005, we have partnered with clients across the Middle East, Africa and Asia to support complex infrastructure that powers communities and sustains economies.<br>The Bisha Solar PV Project is a significant renewable energy initiative in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the development of a 3,000 MW solar PV plant in Bisha, Asir Province, Saudi Arabi. This project is part of a broader national wave of gigawatt-scale solar procurement and buildout, with fast capacity additions and large power purchase agreements (PPAs) being key factors in its credibility. The project is developed under the IPP model with a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with SPPC as the offtaker, and financial close was achieved in October 2025, with completion scheduled for December 2027.<br><br>JOB PURPOSE: To supervise and manage the electrical maintenance activities in the plant, including all preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages and overhauling work activities for all electrical equipment in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure plant availability and equipment reliability.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:People Management:Supervise the activities and work of the team members to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems. Maintenance Management:Monitor the Electrical preventive and corrective maintenance and overhauling work activities to ensure continuity and reliability of plant electrical equipment. Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimising downtime and possibility of liquidity damages. Develop and promote a condition based preventive maintenance culture on day to day basis by conducting troubleshooting and root cause analyses, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance. Troubleshooting and Technical Guidance:Troubleshoot critical problems/breakdowns of Electrical equipment and investigate, diagnose faults to determine best proper action/repairs while ensuring they comply with NOMAC’s quality and HSE standards. Review and analyse electrical equipment maintenance data and conduct site engineering studies to determine the feasibility of introducing modifications to increase reliability and efficiency of plant, thereby ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence. Prepare feasibility studies for new installations, replacements or repair of existing electrical equipment including technical evaluation, specifications and materials for modifications in addition to process diagrams and cost estimates and ensure proper follow up reports and evaluation on completed modifications. Outage Management:Participate in the effective forecasting of manpower and material requirements to ensure timely availability of resources and spares for effective execution of Electrical maintenance plans. Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical electrical equipment, as per the recommendation of the OEM and defined best practices, and provide technical support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met Documentation:Ensure that all maintenance documentation for the electrical activities are completed in SAP correctly including the Maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used to support timely availability of information. Health, Safety, Security & Environment:Ensure strict adherence to all relevant HSSE and permit to work system, instructions and controls and procedures are complied with so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed. Together with HSE department, ensure that safety rules and regulations are fully explained to plant employees / contractor staff and appropriate safety and protective equipment is worn; safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas and that all accidents and incidents are efficiently investigated and analysed whilst ensuring that measures are implemented to avoid any recurrence. Material Management:Lead the preparation of monthly / annual requirements for equipment, spare parts and general materials for the electrical unit within the plant to support timely availability of requirements as per maintenance plans and budget constraints. Conduct technical evaluations, in collaboration with the procurement department to identify and provide recommendations on the most appropriate materials / equipment for the plant, in a timely and efficient manner. Networking:Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external contractors with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical technical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner. Liaise with EPC / OEM contractors for clarification, analysis and technical guidance in order to ensure clarity of communications/accurate fulfilment of operational requirements. SAP Administration:Supervise the effective administration of SAP processes within the Electrical maintenance section and adhere to SAP guidelines in all related aspects of annual and monthly planning, scheduling, data management such as breakdowns review, corrective maintenance notification, creating maintenance work orders and planning in order to ensure data/system integrity in line with NOMAC’s defined standards. Continuous Improvement:Contribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organisation’s standards. Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures:Develop and ensure the implementation of Operation’s department work instructions, policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service. As a Storekeeper, you will need to:<br>Inventory Management & Stock Handling Manage the proper organization, storage, and handling of materials, goods, and supplies within the storeroom. Ensure all inventory is stored appropriately to prevent damage, contamination, loss, or waste. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Plan and conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks to ensure stock records are accurate. Monitor the condition of stored goods and report damaged, expired, missing, or discrepant items to the Purchasing Manager or Chief Accountant. Ensure stock is clearly organized and easily accessible when required.<br>Receiving & Inspection of Deliveries Oversee the receiving of deliveries and check goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documentation. Verify the quantity and general condition of received goods. Report any shortages, damages, discrepancies, or expired items to the Purchasing Manager or Chief Accountant and follow up with suppliers as required. Ensure all received goods are properly documented and recorded according to company procedures. Safely move and store received items in their designated locations.<br>Stock Issuance & Distribution Control the issuance and distribution of goods to various departments based on approved requisitions. Ensure requested items are issued in the correct quantity and within the required timeframe. Maintain proper documentation for all stock issued, returned, or transferred. Ensure the timely fulfilment of departmental stock requirements. Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded for inventory control purposes.<br>Stock Rotation & Waste Minimization Implement and enforce proper stock rotation procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and other applicable inventory practices. Monitor perishable and non-perishable goods to minimize spoilage and unnecessary waste. Identify and report slow-moving, excess, damaged, or expired inventory. Oversee the proper handling and disposal of damaged or expired goods in accordance with company procedures.<br>Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate and organized records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and inventory movements. Update inventory records and prepare supporting documentation for all stock transactions. Coordinate periodic inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits with the Finance team. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed in accordance with company policies and Finance procedures. Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues, escalating where necessary.<br>Housekeeping, Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storeroom at all times. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the coordination of engineering deliverables and help ensure priorities align with industrial planning needs. As a member of the A320 MAP Engineering Team, you will support the collection and reporting of performance metrics to help ensure service level agreement (SLA) requirements are met. Wherever possible, we support flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.</span></p><br><br><br><p><b>Your challenges:</b></p><br><br><br><ul><li><p><span>Coordinate priorities for the MAP Engineering team to support the MAP Engineering Managers.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Assist in planning and prioritizing work items, and ensure their status is visible in reporting tools.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Act as a point of contact for MAP with various Final Assembly Line (FAL) organizations, screening issues under MAP responsibility and informing the relevant function leader.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Communicate daily plans and priorities to the MAP team, Autonomous Production Teams (APTs), and Multi-functional Teams (MFTs).</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Help set appropriate priorities for all daily topics and ensure MAP Engineering deliverables are completed on time.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Support the process of ensuring all topics have agreed-upon target dates from MAP function leaders and provide</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>feedback to manufacturing to align with industrial and engineering milestones.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Maintain and update MAP reporting tools, such as the One Click Board (OCB), to ensure accurate and current data for your assigned area.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with Quality and MAP teams to ensure the quality of non-conformance (NC) data meets process requirements.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Help prepare for and participate in routine meetings, such as Q-Gates and FOT meetings, to maintain a strong feedback loop within the MAP Engineering teams.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Create meeting minutes for station/production morning meetings, recording data directly in the OCB.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Support the coordination of on-aircraft engineering assessments and interventions with the MFT/APT.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Provide timely and accurate escalations to the MAP Managers when necessary.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Assist in preparing global endorsement sheets and ensuring Aircam Mods are signed by the Chief Engineer or their delegate prior to the FOT meeting.</span></p><br><br></li></ul><br><p>Your boarding pass:</p><br><br><ul><li><p><span>B.S. or M.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or systems engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>6 years of relevant experience in an Engineering, M.E or Engineering coordination role.
