The Power Production Assistant Site Manager is responsible for managing personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the Power Production operation of a 6M (initial load) Power Plant in accordance with the performance work statement. The qualified candidate will report to the Site Manager and may supervisor other American Nationals (ANs), Other Country Nationals (OCNs), and/or Local Nationals (LNs). Responsibilities + Shall function as Shift Lead and be responsible for managing personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the Power Production operation. + Shall act as Site Manager upon his/her absence. + Shall have knowledge of: Principles of electronics and electricity, including generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and utilization; types, capacity, and purpose of low/medium voltage circuits, circuit breakers, switches, fuses, regulators, relays, instruments, and meters associated with electric generation and distribution; interpreting instrument and meter readings; wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings and technical publications; techniques of operating and maintaining internal combustion engines, generators, generating plants, distribution panels, and accessory equipment; use and purpose of test equipment; safety rules and practices; environmental policies; principles of management; and operation and repair of electrical power production systems. + Shall meet with government customer as needed. + Shall accomplish inspection and status reports with diagnosis, estimated timeline for repair actions and list of required parts upon discovery of deficiency. + Shall maintain and adhere to applicable technical orders and good commercial practices for all maintenance actions to include: coordination of work, requesting parts, receiving parts, installing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing equipment or systems. + Shall provide written reports of hourly peak demand and fuel consumption, inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of each system or component as required. + Must be able to multi task and work in a high paced environment. Work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks safely, effectively and efficiently. + Responsible for meeting contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control. + Responsible for following a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements. + Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program. + Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas. + Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools). + Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Certifications: + Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. + As a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia, all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) to ensure eligibility for visa processing and employment authorization. + Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment. + Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport. + Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and able to drive with a manual transmission. + Must be able to communicate in English. + Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc. + Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear. Experience: + A minimum of five years' of experience in Power Production operations/electrical power generation field. + Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and polices regarding the operation of electronic equipment. Skills: + Must be proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point + Fluent in English with good verbal, reading and writing skills. + Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. + Exercise discretion and good sound judgment. + Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements + Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred. Work will be mainly outdoors with office space provided. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs. Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions. <p> Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead the city-wide Water Balance Study determining water availability and quantifying every inflow and outflow across the study area, validating the groundwater and dewatering systems both separately and combined, and assessing the potential for water reuse. The role owns the water-balance model and its field-data foundation: it divides the study area into sub basins, instruments control points, quantifies recharge and losses, reconciles the balance against monitoring, and delivers the water-balance, water-reuse and reuse-pilot outputs. Quantify actual irrigation practices and application rates on public land to improve accuracy. Install flow meters, gates, isolation valves, level sensors and pressure loggers, and consider online quality monitoring, to establish a controlled monitoring system; collect water samples to examine quality and source. Oversee the control, maintenance, verification, and calibration of inspection gauges, measuring instruments, and testing equipment. Ensure calibration records and inspection documentation are maintained in accordance with ISO and company requirements. Audit & Continuous Improvement Develop and maintain internal quality audit schedules. Conduct internal audits and support customer and third-party audits. Prepare audit reports, monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure effective closure of audit findings. Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend improvement actions to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Coordinate with the Management Representative (MR) to implement preventive and corrective actions. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Commercial, and Procurement departments to define inspection requirements. Review customer specifications, contract requirements, quality plans, and applicable standards to ensure compliance throughout production. Support customer complaints investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Team Leadership Lead and mentor QA/QC inspectors and quality personnel. Establish SMART objectives for the inspection team and monitor performance against established targets. Promote a quality-focused culture and continuous improvement within the organization. Technical Requirements Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including:ISO 9001 (Latest Edition) API Spec Q1 (Latest Edition) Thorough understanding of quality requirements related to valve manufacturing and oil & gas applications. Sound knowledge of API product standards, ASME codes, and other relevant industry standards. Experience in inspection, testing, calibration, and quality assurance methodologies. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, including:Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT/PT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT/MT) Radiographic Film Interpretation (RTFI) Preferred Certifications ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification (Latest Edition). API Q1 Lead Auditor Certification. ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II or ASNT CP-189 Level II certification in applicable NDT methods. Internal Auditor Certification. Calibration Certification. API Product Certifications (API 6D, API 600, API 602, API 607, API 608, API 609, API 598, etc.) are an added advantage. Qualifications & Experience Option 1Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with:Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Inspection. Minimum 5 years of experience in valve manufacturing for Oil & Gas applications. Option 2Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with:Minimum 13 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Inspection. Minimum 7 years of experience in valve manufacturing for Oil & Gas applications. Preferred Experience Experience with a reputable valve manufacturing company. Experience working on projects for Saudi Aramco or other major oil & gas operators. Proven track record in managing customer inspections, audits, and quality compliance requirements.
