ROLE OVERVIEWReporting to the Modern Trade Manager, the Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Al Rabie’s business with assigned Modern Trade key accounts, including national and regional hypermarket and supermarket chains. The role owns the full commercial relationship, from annual joint business planning and negotiation to in-store execution and P&L delivery, making it a critical driver of Al Rabie’s growth in the organized retail channel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Account Strategy & Revenue Growth:Develop and execute annual account plans for assigned Modern Trade key accounts, with clear revenue, volume, and market share targets by customer. Drive sustainable growth across the Al Rabie portfolio within hypermarkets, supermarkets, and organized retail chains, expanding distribution, shelf space, and category share. Identify growth opportunities within each account, including new listings, incremental displays, and expansion into new store openings across the Kingdom. Lead the introduction and sell-in of new products and pack formats in collaboration with marketing and trade marketing teams.2. Commercial & P&L Management:Own the account P&L including net revenue, trade spend, promotional ROI, and profitability targets for each assigned customer. Negotiate annual trading terms, pricing, promotional calendars, and listing agreements, ensuring margin compliance with company guidelines. Manage trade investment budgets effectively, balancing promotional visibility, activation, and bottom-line contribution per account. Deliver accurate volume and revenue forecasts in coordination with supply chain and demand planning teams, safeguarding availability and freshness standards critical to juice products.3. Customer & Relationship Management:Own day-to-day and strategic relationships with buyers, category managers, and commercial teams at assigned key accounts. Lead joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews, building long-term strategic partnerships with each account. Resolve commercial, supply, and operational issues promptly to maintain strong service levels and customer satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact between the account and internal Al Rabie functions including supply chain, finance, and marketing.4. In-Store Execution & Operations:Ensure best-in-class in-store execution across assigned accounts, including planogram compliance, shelf availability, secondary displays, and pricing accuracy. Conduct regular store visits to monitor execution quality, competitor activity, and identify opportunities to strengthen Al Rabie’s presence. Collaborate with the field sales and merchandising teams to translate account agreements into flawless store-level execution. Monitor and proactively reduce out-of-stocks, returns, and near-expiry stock at store level.<br>5. Promotions & Category Development:Plan and execute promotional programs and seasonal activations (Ramadan, summer, back-to-school) tailored to each account’s shopper base. Partner with trade marketing to secure premium in-store visibility, gondola ends, and branded displays that drive shopper conversion. Use category and shopper insights to build compelling, data-driven selling stories that strengthen Al Rabie’s position with buyers. Evaluate promotional effectiveness and refine future plans to maximize return on investment.6. Data, Analytics & Reporting Build and maintain account scorecards covering sell-in, sell-out, distribution, share, and promotional performance. Use retailer data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights and course-correct performance in real time. Track competitive activity across the juice and beverage category, identifying pricing gaps, distribution gaps, and promotional opportunities. Prepare monthly account performance reviews for the Modern Trade Manager and commercial leadership team.<br>KEY REQUIREMENTSExperience:Minimum 5 years in key account management or Modern Trade sales roles within FMCG.8+ years’ total experience in FMCG commercial or sales functions, Food & Beverage preferred.
