JOB TITLEAssociate – Finance | MAF Retail | Hypermarket KSA<br>ROLE SUMMARYThe Associate – Finance is responsible for financial postings covering the areas, but not limited to, payables, payroll, asset and general ledgers to ensure that precise data are updated to the system and are properly executed in line with MAF Retail’s established financial accounting principles and procedures.<br>ROLE PROFILEGather and verify financial data related to accounting Maintain and review purchase ledgers to ensure that all expenses are accurately posted and monitored against the set budget Review invoices to be paid in order to ensure accuracy and veracity of invoices Process payments to vendors and contractors as per the contract’s terms, including advance payment and penalties Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts in different banks to ensure that entries in the journals are matched and aligned with the bank statements Review adjusting entries passed and ensure that suppliers’ accounts are updated and any control Handle and ensure that month-end and year-end closing process is completed and entries booked efficiently Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements and managerial reports in a timely and accurate manner<br>REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance1-2 years of experience in a similar roleexperience in FMCG industry and hypermarkets Excellent Analytical skills<br>WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
