Job Summary:The Linux & K8s and Backup Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, monitoring, and operational support of Linux systems, Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, containerized environments, and Veeam backup infrastructure. The role ensures system availability, security, performance, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness. Key Responsibilities:Administer and support Linux-based systems and services, including security hardening, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Monitor system health, logs, user activities, patch levels, and critical services. Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance validation. Administer and monitor Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized environments. Validate Kubernetes cluster configurations, container images, and runtime security according to best practices. Monitor container activities, orchestration events, performance, and security alerts. Support the integration of Kubernetes and container environments with CI/CD pipelines, SIEM, cloud security controls, and centralized logging platforms. Perform vulnerability assessments and compliance validation for containerized workloads. Administer and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure.
