Ensures examination rooms are in a state of cleanliness and readiness at all times. Reports all equipment malfunctions to the Chief Technician or designee. Assists in the emergency treatment of patients. Observes all infection control standards laid down in policy documents, particularly in respect to sterile procedures. Administer (under the direction and supervision of the radiologist) oral, rectal and parenteral contrast media, including intravenous contrast media. Implements and coordinates policies and procedures to achieve the hospital?s goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, Quality / Performance Improvement. Participate in patient and family education to help patients and families to better understand and participate in their care and make well informed care decisions. Responsibilities Performs inspections, repairs, and replacement of aircraft structural components to include stringers, longerons, bulkheads, beams and aircraft skin according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. Fabricates structural parts and forming blocks. Shapes metal using stretching, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques. Mixes and applies fiberglass materials. Makes unscheduled emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures. Uses the following: common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures to perform structural repairs. Mixes and applies primers and paints to aircraft surfaces. Applies corrosion control treatment to aircraft metals. Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock items for repair of aircraft structures.
