Organizes daily work congruent with schedules and work patterns of the subsection/section. Assists in the appropriate dissemination of information in intern shift, intersectional, and department communication.&nbsp;</p><br><br>2. Performs products processing, including sampling, cell count, and dose calculation, following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepares all required documents for cell dose and calculation. Conducts accurate minor /major manipulation required of assigned products types, meeting or exceeding productivity standards.3. Maintains complete and accurate records of all HPC products infused, stored, and shipped.&nbsp;<br>4. Performs and learns the Principle of Autologous Bone Marrow, Autologous Peripheral Blood Stem Cell, Buffy Coat Separation and Cryopreservation.&nbsp;<br>5. Performs and learns the Principle of Allogenic Bone Marrow, Allogenic Peripheral Blood Stem Cell, Buffy Coat Separation and Cryopreservation.&nbsp;<br>6. Evaluates the new methodologies/equipment. Ensures that optimum levels of supplies are available to provide uninterrupted services; maintains an ordering and supply inventory system. 4. Assists in development of new methodologies and the evaluation of new equipment. Updates policy and procedure manuals in accordance with specified guidelines. 5. Performs analyses, tests, and procedures as per established laboratory standards, maintaining quality control of the subsection. Participates in the Quality Assurance programs of the section. Investigates incident reports and implements associated corrective action. 6. Maintains equipment repair logs and equipment operation, maintenance, and re air records of subsection. 7. Assists section supervisor in on-going employee performance appraisal. Counsels subordinates to improve performance. 8. Orients, trains, provides continuing education, and guides lower graded personnel, other laboratory and healthcare personnel, students, and residents. Assists the section supervisor in evaluation of potential employment candidates. Implements and maintains appropriate laboratory safety procedures and practices. 9. Performs technical duties as assigned including weekends, night shifts, and on call coverage. 10. Comply with the section policies, procedures and protocols and follow the section quality improvement program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, CAP, SFDA and other accreditation agencies standards.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><strong>Education</strong> Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences is required.</p><p><strong>Experience</strong> Required Grade 09:Two (2) years of related experience with Master's or four (4) years with Bachelor's Degree is required. Grade 10: ? Four (4) years as Senior Medical Technologist at KFSH&amp;RC or (Grade 09) of related experience is required. ? Average of annual performance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years. ?
