Apply today.</p><p><strong>Construction Supervision &amp; Project Delivery</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and monitor civil construction activities associated with roads, highways, interchanges, drainage systems, utilities, and related infrastructure works.</li><li>Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.</li><li>Review contractor work methods, construction schedules, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.</li><li>Monitor construction progress and identify potential risks, delays, or technical issues impacting project delivery.</li><li>Verify completed works and ensure compliance with project quality requirements before approval.</li></ul><p><strong>Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction.</li><li>Coordinate with quality teams to review inspection requests, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure testing and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures.</li><li>Review and verify contractor quality documentation and records.</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Management</strong></p><ul><li>Liaise with the Client, Contractor, Authorities, Utility Agencies, and other project stakeholders.</li><li>Support the Resident Engineer in technical discussions and coordination meetings.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, progress updates, site instructions, and project correspondence.</li><li>Participate in progress meetings and provide engineering recommendations to support decision-making.</li></ul><p><strong>Health, Safety &amp; Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.</li><li>Monitor contractor adherence to approved health, safety, and environmental plans.</li><li>Report unsafe conditions and support implementation of corrective measures.</li><li>Ensure works are executed in accordance with local regulations and international best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Administration Support</strong></p><ul><li>Review contractor claims, variation requests, and extension of time submissions from a technical perspective.</li><li>Assist in evaluating progress valuations and completed works.</li><li>Support the Resident Engineer in the administration of construction contracts.</li></ul><p><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and inspectors.</li><li>Coordinate daily activities of site supervision staff.</li><li>Foster collaboration within multidisciplinary project teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum 15 years of professional experience in civil engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision of major roads and highways projects. Proven experience on large-scale transportation infrastructure projects within the Middle East region. Demonstrated experience supervising highway construction, pavement works, interchanges, bridges, drainage systems, and associated utilities. Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction administration processes. Previous experience working with consultants on client-facing infrastructure projects is highly desirable.</p>
