<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p>I&amp;C Technician will carry out maintenance, installation, overhauling and modification activities on plant’s instrumentation and control systems and equipment in accordance with standard maintenance procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards to attain effective functionality and reliability.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>I&amp;C Maintenance </strong></p><ul><li>Carry out required routine preventative instrumentation and control maintenance work according to set schedule and ACWA NOMAC procedures to facilitate continuous operations.</li><li>Monitor the physical condition of all systems and equipment in assigned plant and report non-conformances to Instrumentation and Control Engineer / Supervisor to facilitate effective maintenance of all ACWA NOMAC facilities as per set Quality/ HSE standards.</li><li>Respond to instrumentation and control failures and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot using necessary tools and spare parts including diagnosis, dismantling, repair, part change, checking, cleaning and reassembly to validate that all instruments are well calibrated and in good working condition for smooth operations.</li><li>Diagnose causes of malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as control valves, transmitters, etc. and take corrective measures in collaboration with Instrumentation and Control Engineer / Supervisor.</li><li>Read and understand technical manuals, control diagrams and system diagrams and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, to prepare for the instrument and control maintenance to systems and equipment in the assigned area.</li><li>Align, adjust and calibrate systems and equipment according to specifications and to maintain records of repairs, calibrations and tests.</li></ul><p><strong>Documentation</strong></p><ul><li>Update the maintenance logbook and record details of work carried out including defaults, problems, various findings and conditions of all instrumentation and control systems to ensure timely availability of information and organized referencing.</li></ul><p><strong>Health, Safety, Security &amp; Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li>Minimum of technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Instrument Engineering.</li><li>3-5 years’ experience in instrument and control maintenance as a technician in installation, maintenance and engineering of electronic equipment and installations in a CCGT Power Plant Equipment plant environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Practical Knowledge of relevant CCGT Power Plant Equipment</li><li>Practical knowledge of maintenance principles including but not limited to identification, classification, disposal of waste and emission monitoring</li><li>Awareness of HSE &amp; quality standards</li><li>Teamwork and effective collaboration skills</li><li>Knowledge of First aid measures</li></ul>

<p>Reporting To: Shift Supervisor / Shift Charge Engineer Job Summary Monitor and control of the Unit/plant Operation parameters and coordinate with the other Operators in regard to all related activities that affect operation. Roles &amp; Responsibilities Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipment in his area. Familiar with plant P&amp;IDs, SOPs, Work instructions, Operation and control logics as well as the emergency operation procedures and any other related documents. Monitor all parameters of the unit and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book. Follow the instructions of the Shift Charge Engineer and Shift Supervisor and coordinate with other Operators in regard to all activities. Be alert and take quick actions during abnormal operating conditions. Coordinate and ensure Lock Out &amp; Tag Out during the isolation of equipment for maintenance as per the approved Permit To Work procedure. Normalize the equipment after cancellation when instructed to do so. Inspect the unit and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the Shift Supervisor / SCE. Perform the periodic protection tests under the supervision of SCE/Supervisor and maintain records. Perform equipment change over according to preset schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment and follow up for the defect rectification. Assist in the training and familiarization of new operators. Report near misses and implement prescribed risk controls. Report deviations in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Ensure proper waste disposal measures. Perform other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Job Specifications Educational Desired: Diploma in Engineering is a must. Preferred: Bachelor of Engineering. Minimum Experience Minimum: 5 years in the same position. Job Summary</strong></p><p><strong>Why does this role exist?</strong></p><br><p><em>Tractebel has been appointed as the Owner's Engineer for the Al Khushaybi Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Independent Power Project (IPP) in the Al Qassim Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project is being developed by ENGIE and its consortium partners under the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) Battery Energy Storage Program. The Al Khushaybi BESS facility has a capacity of 500 MW with 4 hours of storage duration(2,000MWh).</em></p><br><br><p><em>As Owner's Engineer, Tractebel is responsible for providing independent technical oversight and assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including design review, engineering management, technology assessment, construction supervision, testing and commissioning support, and verification of compliance with contractual, regulatory, and international technical standards.</em></p><br><p><em>This role exists to support the successful delivery of one of Saudi Arabia's flagship utility-scale energy storage projects by ensuring technical excellence, project quality, safety, reliability, and timely execution.
