Job Summary The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and engineering solutions to customers by understanding their power generation requirements and recommending the most suitable generator sets (gensets), associated electrical systems, and related equipment. The role serves as the technical bridge between the sales, engineering, and project teams, supporting equipment selection, proposal preparation, and customer engagement while ensuring the delivery of technically compliant and cost-effective power generation solutions across the Eastern Province and throughout Saudi Arabia. Work Location Eastern Province – Al Khobar City(Travel across Saudi Arabia is required) Key Responsibilities Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate generator set (genset), power generation, and electrical engineering solutions. Select and size generator sets and associated equipment based on customer requirements, project specifications, applicable standards, and operational needs. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation for power generation solutions. Review project specifications, electrical drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with customer and project requirements. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and the sales team regarding generator sets and related equipment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Application Engineer, Sales/Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or in a similar role within the power generation industry. Strong understanding of diesel and gas generator sets, electrical power generation systems, alternators, generator control systems, synchronization, ATS panels, and related electrical equipment. Experience in equipment selection, sizing, and application engineering for generator sets and associated systems. Experience preparing technical proposals and reviewing engineering specifications. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant engineering software. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in the power generation or electrical equipment industry.
