<p><strong>Zaraa Al-Khair Trading & Contracting Company announces a job opportunity</strong></p> <p><strong>Workshop Manager</strong> <strong>(Workshop Manager)</strong></p> <p>Do you have experience managing truck maintenance workshops and heavy equipment?<br />Can you lead a technical team and achieve the highest readiness levels, reduce breakdowns, and lower maintenance costs?</p> <p>If the answer is yes, we are looking for an outstanding leader to join our team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage all workshop and daily maintenance activities.</li> <li>Supervise maintenance and repair of trucks and heavy equipment to the highest technical standards.</li> <li>Prepare and implement preventive, periodic, and predictive maintenance plans.</li> <li>Monitor fleet readiness and raise operational readiness rates.</li> <li>Reduce recurring faults, analyze root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.</li> <li>Manage technicians and supervisors, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.</li> <li>Monitor maintenance quality and ensure execution according to the manufacturer’s instructions.</li> <li>Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory in coordination with the Procurement Department.</li> <li>Prepare technical reports and performance indicators and submit them to senior management.</li> <li>Monitor maintenance costs and work on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health procedures within the workshop.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Transport Department to ensure rapid vehicle return to service.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering or a technical diploma with distinguished experience.</li> <li>Experience of not less than <strong>7</strong> years in managing truck or heavy equipment workshops, including <strong>3</strong> years in supervisory or managerial positions.</li> <li>Experience in maintaining trucks such as <strong>Volvo</strong>, <strong>Mercedes-Benz</strong>, <strong>MAN</strong>, <strong>Sinotruk</strong>, <strong>Howo</strong>, <strong>Shacman</strong> or equivalent.</li> <li>Knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical/electronic systems.</li> <li>Ability to read technical diagrams; using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.</li> <li>Strong leadership, administrative, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in preparing reports and performance indicators.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Increase fleet readiness.</li> <li>Reduce unexpected breakdowns.</li> <li>Lower Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).</li> <li>Increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).</li> <li>Adherence to preventive maintenance plans.</li> <li>Improve spare parts usage and reduce waste.</li> <li>Adherence to maintenance budget.</li> <li>Speed of returning vehicles to service.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits.</li> <li>Professional working environment.</li> <li>Opportunities for development and promotion.</li> <li>Work within a large fleet and diverse projects in the transportation and contracting sector.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
