Verify and secure all required documentation, warranties, asset registers, and maintenance plans during handover. Manage outsourced operations contracts, ensuring operators deliver services as per agreed KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards. Review operator reports, track performance, and ensure timely rectification of operational and maintenance issues. Prepare and manage annual operations and maintenance (O&M) budgets, including monitoring expenditures and approving invoices. Implement and maintain asset management policies, systems, processes, and standards across the civic asset portfolio. Ensure operators operate in line with approved procedures and reporting frameworks including all necessary authority requirements Maintain accurate asset data, lifecycle records, and performance reports to support asset management decision-making. Act as the main point of contact between operators, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on asset performance, risks, lifecycle planning, and financial status. Safety, Quality & Environment Ensure all operators comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor compliance with applicable healthcare, education, and public safety regulations where relevant Review audit findings and implement corrective actions with contractors. Continuous Improvement Recommend improvements in asset management practices, maintenance strategies, contractor performance, and cost efficiency. Identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
