Principle Accountabilities To keep the store keys safely under own custody. Ensure store timings, work schedule and staff break time are strictly followed by all staff. Ensure the outlet strictly follows the DAMAS standards in terms of tidiness, product display, store security, etc. Communicate the sales plan to team members and ensure targets are achieved; ensure all sales persons contribute towards target achievement. Ensure accuracy and proper functioning of weighing scales, calculators, Diamond tester and all other equipment's. To ensure that regular counting of items (gold bars, gold coins and certified diamonds) and printing of reports as per the procedures provided by Audit is followed in the store. Ensure all customers are attended to by the Sales staff & customer requirements and aspirations are understood. Ensure proper product and price information is given to the customer; assist the sales person in case of difficulty. Ensure complete adherance to the store operational procedures (Blue Print). Monitor the Repair Order register / navision and follow-up for timely delivery; ensure required customer requirements are fulfilled Ensure invoicing is done accurately and no discrepancies in cash/credit transactions. Check bookings done by customers and update atleast twice a month. Carry out inspection of all jewellery once receive, on display or kept in the back-up stock, and identify, separate and sort all products that require any attention e.g. cleaning, polishing, rhodium, etc and remove non-conforming products from display/stock for necessary arrangement. To ensure availability of adequate quantities of all packing materials for branded and non-branded jewellery, including boxes, pouches, carry bags, etc. Store these in a proper location and report low inventory or non-availability of any items to concerned division immediately. Participate in stock-taking exercises. Keep self aware of and have complete knowledge of current market trends. Ensure all Security standards (related to CCTV, security alarms, etc) are being met. Maintain all petty cash expenses of the store as per Finance Department guidelines and ensure all expenses are submitted by time after due approvals/verification. Ensure that all the staff follow the good grooming as per the manual provided by HR. Handle the staff grievances in line with HR policies. Ensure staff motivation and energy level are high. Conduct Performance Appraisal yearly for team members following DAMAS standards.
