Central to this process, and as further mandated by General Assembly resolution 72/279, a new generation of UN Resident Coordinator Offices across the world are being strengthened under the leadership of an empowered UN Resident Coordinator, the highest-ranking representative of the UN Development System at country level. To effectively coordinate the collective work of UN Country Teams in support of national aspirations, Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) enhanced core capacities include expertise in coordination and strategic planning and economics for tailored policy support. The Resident Coordinator leads the United Nations Team for Saudi Arabia, which comprises 27 UN entities. Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Resident Coordinators Office, the Individual Contractor (IC) Research Assistant will support the efforts of the RC Office and the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) by providing well researched topical and sectoral mapping, literature reviews, policy briefs, strategy notes, etc. to enhance and accelerate development of KSA towards achieving Vision 2030 and the 9 Missions of the Sustainable Development and UN Agenda 2030 and the 17 SDGs.<br> Qualifications/special skills<br>A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) degree in Law, Economics, Statistics, or other related Social Science is required. General Responsibilities Support the Boat Captain in the safe navigation and operation of all dive center vessels. Assist with mooring, anchoring, docking, and vessel handling as directed by the Boat Captain. Operational Responsibilities (Post-Opening) Assist in the safe embarkation and disembarkation of guests. Support diver drop-offs and pick-ups in accordance with established dive protocols. Conduct routine checks on safety equipment and report any deficiencies. Support basic troubleshooting of vessels and outboard engines where applicable. <span><br>JOB SUMMARY<br>Assists in leading the property’s segmented sales effort (e.g., group, transient, association, corporate, etc.) and assists in the implementation of the segment sales strategy and achieving segment revenue goals, property revenue goals and guest and employee satisfaction. Conducts all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. Complete cashier and closing reports. Supply guests with directions and property information. Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift.
